New Ninja Gaiden It might not be a 3D game, but this game still looks good and might be a return for my ninja king to kill some demons. Just seeing Hayabusa made me scream lol

I'm very glad it is a 2d game. the quality is awesome

I'm still waiting on a real NG3, but I'll take it- loved Shredders Revenge. Guess I'll play through Black again in the meantime.

I haven't played the 3D ones; what would be the best way to?

This looks great!.. but I'm hoping we get some urban setpieces too. What made Ninja Gaiden and Shinobi stand out to me so much was the grimey detroit levels and all the ways they explored modern industrialism setting-wise, so if this game is purely set in rural japan with demons and stuff it'll still be cool, but a bit dissapointing imo

For Ninja Garden Black (the best version of the first 3d one) it's still either original hardware or backwards compatibility on an Xbox One. You can emulate it through Xemu, but I've always found Xemu a little rough performance wise but that could just be my hardware. For Ninja Gaiden 2, it's still locked behind original hardware only as Xenia (360 emulator) is still really rough last I checked.
You could always get the latest Master Collection release which has Ninja Gaiden 1-3, but they are the 'Sigma' re-release versions of the first two. Sigma 1 isn't bad and is more or less just a few new weapons and some item changes, but Sigma 2 is a drastically worse version that I do not recommend at all.

I screamed like max's when they referenced the NES ninja Gaiden 1 intro

Def listen to octo here the master collection is a good way to get into the 3d games minus sigma 2 mostly because it is a watered down version of Og ninja gaiden 2 (its still playable but your missing out on true carnage) Its better being played on Og hardware because xenia has a hard time emulating it. But sigma 1 and razors edge are good games and i totally recommend you get into them this might be the revival of NG. ninjagaiden2carnage click on this if you wanna see the og ninja gaiden 2 carnage enjoy

Back then, that's the only Sigma I know

I'm intrigued by it. NGB and 2 are my favorite hack n slash games. I also played the original NES one, that was a blast.

Goated game series I finally got ng2 to work on Xenia so I’ve been enjoying the carnage on warrior until I get mentor and master ninja
