Who else used Kawaks emulator to emulate Neo-Geo games?
Very fun to play. A mondern MotW in my opinion. Easy to pick up but hard to master and has just the right amount of offense and defensive options where everyone feels pretty balanced. Also a healthy amount of single player content with the Episodes of Southtown mode.how is city of the wolves?
i used to play gato a healthy amount in mark of the wolves
I read about it at the time in game magazines but to this day I've never seen the console in real life, not even at gaming events, on the other hand those KOF 97 and 98 arcades were simply everywhere. I have always sucked at fighting games to play in the arcades but I remember spending hours emulating them after high school trying to beat KOF94 to 99 and specially Garou just for the story. And man, those old KOF cover arts are beautiful.the neo geo is one of the video game consoles i know the least about and have encountered the most rarely
however, i am a pretty lightweight but passionate snk fan, so i own quite a few of their gamezors on sega saturn
the neo geo seemed to be the garden in which many of snk's greatest franchises were cultivated

I killed many hours on that emulator, pretty good, all things consideringI ( nearly ) always pick Kim, Takuma ( or ryo if not available ) and Ralph
Yup ! it was my emulator to play neo geo or some Capcom system games back then ( with the online option to play with friends )
For me I leaned upon this realizing the thing I do want for most retro systems is the right controller, and a good arcade stick is definitely the way to go for Neo Geo emulation. Modern stick layouts also let you have few different styles but mainly modern sticks with two full 4 button rows let you use more than less same layout most Neo Geo cabinets used. No need for full arcade though for me, just a little bit of extra authenticity is being able to place the stick onto a desk rather than lap-playing with one. Computer desks can become great makeshift arcades if your monitor is good (usually it is) and you can move your keyboard out of the way temporarily.I remember one of my childhood friends having a Neo Geo CD with two games when I was a kid. I really didn't understand what it was but it was cool. I now have 1 MVS Big Red cab that I'm repairing and a console-ized MVS and 40-50 games I really slowed down my collecting once the rom carts became available and I bought a house. Sadly I cant afford both and I figure roms plus a roof is better than the other way.
