I'm looking for Nds & 3DS rpg recommendations & I was wondering you guys can help me

I've really enjoyed the Dragon Quest Monsters 2 remake that's on 3DS, there is a translation out there for it. Of course that's if you're into monster raising/battling.

For NDS, the remakes of Dragon Quest IV-VI are all fantastic, as is Strange Journey (NDS version > 3DS version).

As for 3DS, Etrian Odyssey Untold 2 was pretty good, same for Radiant Historia (3DS version > NDS version).

Great pick, the only thing that sucks about this game is the level scalling on new characters, if you scout a new character and you send them to a high level area, they'll receive reduced XP as to not jump levels, that sucked.

Kinda unrelated... but the first time I played this, I didn't know you could recruit your party at the inn. I assumed you had to go solo the whole way, and actually beat the game with my vastly overpowered main girl.

It was pretty shocking when I learned that on the second playthrough.

It was pretty shocking when I learned that on the second playthrough.

Holy shit... That's hardcore! I remember I got up until the fight against the undead knight, after loosing to him once I went back to the main town to buy better gear, that's where I found you could recruit other characters.

i think the game mentions that you can recuit party memebers at the inn at some point. i immediately made a party of think it was a warrior, monk mage and a thief; all female, one red hair, green, blue and probably another red hair. i'll have to check.

Pretty sure Patty tells you as she takes over the Stormway (was that the name of the place?) inn, but the sequence could have done with some more work, as you are immediately tasked to help on a side-quest and are urged to complete a main plot point.

I recall making my party as the bad guys from RWBY once I learned that you could have teammates. It's amazing how the available gear (and the fact that your characters actually wear it) let me create some pretty convincing Neo, Emerald and Mercury. God, what a nerd XD

That's something that's always welcome, the gear actually showing on the character.
