Parasite Eve.

Solid JRPG. Female protagonist in a modern day setting with a horror theme. It was very cool. I even watched the movie based on the book, which the game is based on. That wasn't as good. Combat uses the same engine as Vagrant Story, with selectable body parts in a pseudo real time system. There wasn't anything else like it.

I even like the 3rd game on the PSP. That one gets a lot of hate but it's a solid third person shooter on the PSP.

Not junk.
