Thought it would be fun to show the evolution of my little arcade cab!

It first started with me getting my hands on an old SlikStik arcade cab!

Then I add a PC and took apart a TV for the monitor. Added an X-Arcade TankStick and 2 cheaper light guns, I can't remember the brand.

Then, I decided I didn't like the boring arcade buttons so I replaced them all with LED buttons!

Then I decided its quality improvement time! Painted the rest of the wood, added some vinyl decals, made my own arcade banner and added 2 controllers to allow us to play 4 player games!!

Years later...... I decided I decided why not have a racing arcade! So I decided to build another arcade!

Then I thought to my self, why not more!!! Why use 2 separate PCs and and be limited to tiny screens!? Sooooo... I upgraded the light guns to impact light guns so you can feel the shots, add a flight stick, a marquee, a place for keyboard & mouse and COMBINED THE ARCADES TOGETHER!!!!!

Full 4-player, Light Gun, Flight Simulator, Driving Simulator true MULTI-ARCADE!!!!

Hope everyone likes the the adventure and maybe get motivation to do their own!

This is so cool! Thank you for sharing!

Building my own arcade machine is something I wish to do some day. I don't have neither the tools nor the knowledge though, at the moment.

All that must take a lot of space in your garage, so you know, if ever you get tired of it taking up all your space, well, you know, I'd be happy to have it so you could, you know, get all the space back...Just a thought!

I was asked how the 3 monitors work and what I did to make them functional.

The Top monitor used for the Marquee is handled by LaunchBox it's self. As you choose scroll the games it shows their marquee. Outside of LB its just an animated background that says "ARCADE CABINET" done through Wallpaper Engine I bought on Steam.

The Main TV is just that. 80" used as a main screen.

The little screen on the steering wheel is a tiny monitor running as monitor 3 and I have aida64. I just chose theme that looks most like a fancy car dash to make it feel cool. But it does functionally show CPU/GPU usage and temps and so on.

This is the most hybrid arcade set that exists, that is to say that there is the standard Bartop for Arcade Games and another with a seat, rudder and pedals and functions for Arcade Racing Games. This is Incredible.
