ok but he's actually genuinely pretty alright in the after years because if you can proc hastemarch you can pretty much win most boss fights in the true moon. granted hes not the best in the game, but he was oen of the 15 i took to fight lost babil

I honestly think that every single character you travel with in Magic School Lunar is terrible. The main girls could probably solo the whole thing with a high enough level and all the story would lose from that is several hours of baggage and cringe-worthy dialogue.

Whiny bitch in the beginning but he gets better imo ::chocobo-dance

I'm gonna break the FF streak and nominate Akechi from P5G. He's nothing remarkable but fine when he first joins the party. In the third semester? Dude is straight trash.

The costs of his spells go way the hell up. His SP bar is the same size as before. He has access to several spells that can't be elementally resisted. BUT SOMEHOW his damage is still bottom tier. I actually crashed out the first time I had him use megado to see what he could do.
Cannot believe this mfker proceeded Naoto.

No wonder his dad doesn't love him

Torneko in DQ IV, i get he can do some wonders at random, but mostly he will do them versus mobs i can already oneshot, lacking Alena's Agility and Ragnar's Tankiness and raw strenght, i only use him if i want witty comments in the Appease menu

The story would have you believe he's crazy strong, but when you get him he really isn't. He is SUPER slow and not nearly strong enough to make up for it. His Gear is also really not that strong at all.

The Champ deserved better.

I remember getting him and being super excited because I loved his character model...and then being instantly disappointed because he wasn't very good.
