Whether it's Sam Raimi's Spiderman or American Psycho, some films were destined to become meme goldmines. What do you guys think is the most memeable game?

For my money, it's gotta be Metal Gear Solid.

And who could forget this masterpiece?

I would argue that metal gear rising is more memeable, I mean, the word "meme" is used in the script of the game hahaha, that's insane

Either the original Resident Evil or Big Rigs.

GTA San Andreas
Resident Evil 4
Half Life 1 & 2
Devil May Cry
Persona 5
Sonic Heroes
Shadow The Hedgehog
Kingdom Hearts
Super Mario 64
Star Fox 64
GTA 4
GTA 5
Red Dead 1 & 2
Breath of the Wild
Undertale
Donkey Kong Country

I could go on

Sonic Heroes
As janky as this game was I still find it charming how characters interacted between each other during the levels... too bad no other game nailed it (Sonic Forces tried with radio chatter but eh, it was a one way conversation).

I wish the Chaotix got more spotlight in the games

Where have the Donkey Kong Country memes been all my life? Got any good ones?

Game wise, it's mainly some of the music tracks. The Title Theme, Map Theme, Gangplank Galleon, and the Bonus Room Theme became massive memes. And also DK'S victory dance. Also the absolute fever dream that is the cartoon adaptation.

I'm surprised it didn't get more memes with the release of Bananza.

The show was oddly ahead of its time with 3D using a technique similar to mocap but what happened during it was indeed a fever dream.

I think that was one of the first 3D animated series. As revolutionary as the game

I also know that since the animators had access to the models they also made some "sketches" with them (and I'm sure Nintendo only got aware much later and I'm legit surprised neither them nor Rare tried to control what they were doing with the IP).

Indeed, a fever dream
