A few moments I can think of off the top of my head.
Honestly, the entire opening level of Kirby and the Forgotten Land. As someone who had been a long time Kirby fan, it was exciting to see the series make a leap to a full 3-D platformer and the opening playable level really made me feel like an excited child stepping into somewhere new.
Less of a specific game and more just an in general thing, but I get really giddy and excited whenever I get a full travelable and explorable overworld in a JRPG. Like I've been playing Tales of Berseria since late December and my curiosity is on full overdrive. I want to see as much of the map and places as I possibly could! Like I've already loved these kinds of maps from like Xenoblade and Mario and Luigi, but I always love seeing them. Give me more JRPGs like this please, I will probably spend an hour or two just trying to look for treasure or random things.
The last one I want to mention is the ending of 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim. I'm not going into detail because it's a game that needs to be experienced and I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but honestly, I can't really think of another game whose story has genuinely shaken me to my core in a good way. Like I will say there is a big speech from one of the characters, and I was like... genuinely crying during that whole scene. I just had so many emotions welling up within me and the fact that this game could move me, who was a 23-year-old burnt-out college student at the time, meant a lot to me.
