Yeeessss!! There's a couple of youtube vids that show off some of the technical graphics for some of the cutscenes - Really impressive stuff for a late NES game . I don't know if the snes version does some of the same things, but getting one of these versions finally translated is still pretty frickin' cool.Ohhh, this looks neat. This was on the NES right?
Anybody else get garbled text when adding the MSU-1 patch after the translation?
I tried the MSU patch in Snes9x and the music change worked, but I also get glitched text.Same here, mate. The music insertion didn't seem to work, either. Any luck getting it to work? I tried first doing the text patch and then the MSU patch, but I guess I'll try MSU first then text next.
Did you also find the pcm pack off the archivedotorg site?Same here, mate. The music insertion didn't seem to work, either. Any luck getting it to work? I tried first doing the text patch and then the MSU patch, but I guess I'll try MSU first then text next.

That makes us two.Wish there was an MSU-1 section and MD+ section on the repo.
I don't know the others, but the debug patch seems to work fine on top of the English translation... Then you can use "Let's debug★" in password entry to activate debug mode. Are the english passwords listed somewhere ? I quit the game on the way back from the first colony you visit to go and see if the mechanic has now returned and can't remember what the password was exactly. It was something like "let's go and see the mechanic"...
Does the debug menu allow you to jump directly to certain chapters ?I don't know the others, but the debug patch seems to work fine on top of the English translation... Then you can use "Let's debug★" in password entry to activate debug mode.
Did you take note of the different passwords by any chance ?Finished it earlier today, and really liked it! Despite a few things I didn't like about it, it has definitely become one of my favorite games of this genre.
Btw, I suggest you select sleep when the game asks you, then write down your password. You can then select 'wake up' to keep playing, cause sleeping longer option will require you to reset and input password to resume.
The passwords are case sensitive and usually begin with "Let's", so don't forget the capital L and the '
After beating the game and resetting, I notice 6 green shapes on my title screen. One of the shapes is now filled in, and I'm wondering if I need to make different decisions and see them through until the end in order to fill in the other green shapes? Would be curious if anyone knows or figures this out.
