Still replaying ffx-2 and I have a feeling some director on the ffx-2 team had just seen the matrix

Also, gifs like this are a lot harder to make than I thought, I didn't realize how much trial/error resizing and frame juggling to get a good file size it takes >_<

Definitely not separate. But... Pure tag team like pokemon trainer in smash, two of the three following the leader with or without a glorified stance change system of rotating each character into the leader position for different move pools, or functionally one character with one sprite or model and one play style like 3 kobolds in a trench coat? How would "these characters occupy one slot in the character select screen" be implemented?
