The entirety of X4 presentation is chef's kissCan we all agree that Mega Man X4's boss introductions were peak?
And happy new year to everyone, hopefully someone started their year with a MM game (I started with .hack, banger start)

This is more of a post MM7 general direction no? Like TenguMan, Freezeman, Shademan and Swordman, like MM9/10 were chibi because its a game that tries to emulate the MM2 feeling no?Some of the MM11 robot masters are more MMX-sized than the chibi Classic MM proportions.
I can somewhat get it since MM7 was made around the MMX series but seeing both chibi and less chibi design is a bit inconsistent. This is more of a post MM7 general direction no? It's also because it shows that many RMs aren't made to be the usual Megaman destroyer and were made for other jobs until Willy happens, the variety of the new designs give each one their flair. The more details a robot has is to show that it was created for something important or stronger (Bass is too cool for this and goes classic)
No, Don Cheadle isn't in Mega Man.Is Megaman a war machine at the end? His adaptative abilities is quite unique.
Clown-man isn't a chibi one, SlashMan too, and othersI can somewhat get it since MM7 was made around the MMX series but seeing both chibi and less chibi design is a bit inconsistent.
Unless they're "adult sized robots" in contrast of Megaman looking more like a boy or something.
He wasn't designed to be, but could learn to be, and due to his superior design had the potential to surpass all others even if he wasn't originally a battle robot / particularly strong. The Megaman X series really hammers it home with the comparison to Zero who's class S, while X is Class B to begin with. By the end of the game X becomes stronger (I think). Is Megaman a war machine at the end? His adaptative abilities is quite unique.
Yes X is hesitant for fight and hence stays at class B but he actually does become stronger during the games. At the outset he's lacking basic abilities, like the dash, at the start of X1. It's also established that X gains new weapons and armour upgrades wheres as Zero only learns new techniques. X is building a new arsenal while Zero is simply honing his already established skills. Before X's upgrades he would likely be obliterated by Zero.About X rank, is not that he becomes stronger or that Zero is better
Is just that X hates conflict and his personality made him stay lower in the ranks. But from X7 he decided to take stuff more serious after his retirement and got a rank up
The rank thing become pointless after Axl got in. X and Zero are the only option to deal with the big ass of Sigma since everyone else have the chance to become infected by him (the other one being Axl, but is hard to tell whats up with him and his power)
Zero just goes to the point to do his missions, even in the Zero series he is still the "tell me what my mission is"
X is building a new arsenal while Zero is simply honing his already established skills. Before X's upgrades he would likely be obliterated by Zero.
To properly answer the original question, despite adapting to become (the) strong(est?), I still don't think X would be classed as a war machine by the end, because he would still be capable of more than just fighting, and would choose another path as soon as peace is restored.
It kinda reminds me of Astro Boy who doesn't want to fight all the time, only when necessary.Yes X is hesitant for fight and hence stays at class B but he actually does become stronger during the games. How much stuff do you miss, guys? I kinda hesitate do put the equivalent of Megaman Itadaki Street (the first one you see in order. Fun fact: it's the first game where you don't use Mega Man as playable character), but I'm refusing to consider those two DOS games. How many of you actually do?
this seems to be kind of a common trend; mainly if a game series is popular. mario games are easier after the snes, kirby games are pretty easy starting with kirby 64, pikmin is significantly easier from 3 onwards; fable started getting easier with the second game and the thrid one is a joke.I wonder, does Megaman X gets more and more easy after X3?
X4 you can go full suicide and still beat it like nothing
X5 only had the final stages
X6 comes with its owns problems, so is more a fake difficulty than a real one
X7 was more a test of the jump to 3D, but not really hard
X8..... i think this one depends if the player got all the options the game gives or decided to play as the girls with the hardest difficulty
Command Mission depends if you overlevel or decided to use Cinnamon ultimate weapon + all upgrades you got, she even makes the super boss a joke for a healer
I take both if using no armor X and just Zero with the basic saber in mind (again, X6 problems makes no armor X almost impossible to do on the final stages)
I think this is the reason the Zero saga started to add so much stuff to make things harder (by player choice)
Now you made me want a series like Pluto for megaman....... damnIt kinda reminds me of Astro Boy who doesn't want to fight all the time, only when necessary.
