Chun is probably one of the harder characters to play but I always hear people say she's strong, Marisa on the other hand is one of the easiest. She's kind of low tier but no character in this game is truly bad,

Character strength doesn't matter too much for me, ESPECIALLY in a modern game where u rarely ever see characters completely invalidated anymore. ill mainly be playing online and then maybe hitting up some locals. (Most the characters i wanna play always end up mid tier somehow anyway.)

I might start with Marisa first then pick up chun as a secondary character or maybe even switch the two. I do like a somewhat challenging character but SF has always played a bit weird to me (I come from playing KOF, tekken and NRS games mostly) so easing into things might be better

Not trying to sound like an asshole, do people REALLY care about a storyline in a game that revolves around beating the absolute shit out of your opponent?

Really wished they offered something more than a photo mode because right now I fear it won't sell well and might create more resentment. A lot of money is being asked for something that feels like a small content update and a (larger) patch with 2 DLC characters being permanently removed.

Im just happy that DoA 6 got some love. They do leave the door open for more stuff.

Im not going to sugar coat it, but my opinion is that they want to test the waters and see how DoA 6 does well or not. If it does, they might add more stuff (that should have been there at launch, tbh) Tag battles.

And yeah, I hope they get all greedy and somehow manage to just scam us with the DLC and put another 1.000 dollars in skin DLC. I know they are capable, but I really hope they somewhat learned their lesson with how bad base DoA 6 launched.

I'm used to modern games, but the only games I'm complaining about that are changing are ones that are actually changing for the worse in terms of the general quality of the game. I expect 20 dollars of a sequel of a game to be just as great as the other but there's some noticeable bad qualities that don't justify the price???

your standing is perfect if the reason for people getting mad is cause of nostalgia. but for quality, it can be a little different , I think.

it's a little more than that. Fighting games are inherently community driven. Controversial changes split the community, having an effect of things outside the game itself. With single player games it much easier to just ignore the new entries you don't like.
