The year was nineteen dickety two. We had to say dickety cause the Kaiser stole our word twenty. I chased that rascal to get it back, but gave up after dickety six miles.

That's wild, I'm watching that exact episode right now

I imagine Khlav Kalash tastes like a very firm dry seekh kebab (sausage shaped seasoned minced lamb patty) that's smothered in a sauce that's like the consistency of caramel but thicker, and it has a very strong onion and tumeric taste at first but the aftertaste is meatier; hence homer's recoil followed by gobbling dow the whole thing and licking his lips

I can assure the writers DID NOT think so hard about this, the script just describes it as "a huge clump of food" lol
So a storyboarded came up with it

For anyone curious the script is here, there are a couple of jokes that didn't show up in the episode
