They are. I saw them live in SLC, and moshed to 'em. Eventually one of the bouncers pulled me out (right before The Garden was going to come on stage) because I got bludgeoned in the face and was bleeding profusely and didn't realize it. I literally lost consciousness right after that. Machine Girl is so fucking great that you won't realize you have a gushing head wound while listening to them.
