Or don't watch it, you're surprised this live action Disney remake is awful when the others were no different?

Those CGI-Live action abominations are getting uglier and uglier and I want to hurt Disney for exploiting their legacy for quick cash grabs and the fact Stitch is loved and Marketable gremlin

and It's painful I have seen people DEFEND this movie!

They completely destroyed the story about Two Sisters and Found Family, and added a lot of TikTok editing, fart jokes, and dead memes (Screaming Goat is in this movie too)

The CGI is so ugly, everything is darker
Stitch's fur textures look like they belong to bathroom mat pats

Wait, the humour is dank memes rather than humour based on the scenarios our characters find themselves in?

To be more specific and give context
Hollywood has been OBSESSED milking the Dead Meme Yelling Goat /screaming Goat for almost a decade now!
And now it's in the Lilo and Stitch cgi remake

Video showcasing the past movies

Also Fart Jokes and very fast pacing TIKTOK Editing

Only way it will stop is if people stop watching. Disney won't stop if they keep getting a billion dollars a movie.

I really don't get why stuff like this needs to exist.

Haven't we learned anything from that godawful Avatar movie? Kid's media is often at its best when it's in animated setting, particularly when it started as such.

Funny thing about the original Lilo & Stitch I should mention is the promotional material, where Stitch finds himself in scenes from Renaissance-era Disney films and screws them up, leaving nothing but a "Hehe, Inji biti ba! (This is quite awkward!)" in his wake. They are not representative of the film itself at all, painting them as a Disney version of Shrek rather than the family drama it is, but they are utterly funny.
wait wait wait. hold on stitch is actually speaking another language? whats he speaking?

It's a language made for the film called "Tantalog". It's Stitch's native tongue for the first half of the film before he gets character development, represented by him speaking in english throughout the second half.

Disney run out of ideas long ago and just live on with re-use of old movies stories, most of the times trashing what made the originals classics with their "modern time change update no one asked" or a new animated movie with that one song that gets turned into a meme or put everywhere like crazy to the point it gets tired fast

Yo! So I actually went to go watch this tonight, as the early showing of The Karate Kid film sold out and holyyyyyyyyyyy shit. I've been watching one film every week at the cinema for the past two years, and this was easily the worst.

I've never done this before, but I actually walked out and went and did some shopping instead. Didn't make a big song and dance about it, just went downstairs and left. The only other film I've come close to doing that for is Paranormal Activity.

Dreadful shot choices, weird, unnatural editing, horrible character designs and generally unlikable leads. The comic relief alien characters were also forced, and difficult to watch (but were at least trying?). A properly bad film. Cinema was full, not a single kid laughing. Appealed to the lowest common denominator, talked down to the audience etc. Very very bad.

You walked out?

Ohana means handing your sister to state care so you can go to college.

For real, imagine this precedent being set in a mainland state or another country rather than Hawaii.
Considering how horrendous state child care apparatus are known to be across the world.
The original film message was one of Love, that having a family. No matter how disjointed or adoptive can provide you the support network you need to thrive. That you aren't alone, people love you even if you are a little different.
The remake?
Nah f#ck that, bye sis I hope that the trauma of losing our parents and now me doesn't negatively affect you in anyway. Byeeeee~
Turns out, the only thing more powerful than Family, is American Medical Bills.
What a fucking joke of a movie, and not even in the funny way.

Frankly, I never planned to see it since I assumed it'd be bad, and it was a good call on my part, especially since I love the original 2002 L&S movie so much. Honestly it just makes me want to go back and watch that instead.

Yeah, it was a pretty torturous experience, so I left after an hour of the film's 1:45 run time. It was a nice day out
Damn. First walk-out. Same year I had mine (though mine was for a very disappointing stage musical based on Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf songs).

Funnily enough, the musicals have been the most sold-out shows so far this year. Wicked and Six: The Musical both drew huge crowds in the cinemas I went to. Can't say I know of the Meatloaf one, but that's a damn shame, 'cause Meatloaf has some bangers
