i figured i would make a thread for this show too, as i am sure lots of you here will be watching this :3

i have yet to watch, but i am about to watch episode 1 right now and will watch the others after

so lets get this show on the road, discuss like yakuza!

iu

I have high hopes for this show.
same! i have been a fan of yakuza since the original on ps2 (with the notorious mark hamill voice majima xD)

i will post my thoughts on the first episode after i watch!

so uh...its not a really faithful adaptation...

supposed to take place during the first game, but the backstories and ages of all the characters are different and its like a completely different story

you also would be hard pressed to identify the characters just from looking at them, besides majima obviously lol

why cant they just adapt it right like one piece did!?! (albeit a few changes)

i will still continue it as i like crime dramas anyway, but i am disappointed :/

That's why I just prefer playing the games, you can interact, explore...AND have fun with it (like hitting those combos, that's the best part)

yeah scratch it, dont think i can bring myself to watch more...

feel free to use the thread if anyone else is gonna watch it tho
