Legacy Of Kain

Hello everyone. I'm just your average friendly neighborhood Retro gamer dude. LOL. i was just wondering if anyone have any idea if legacy of Kain Defiance will be remastered like soul reaver 1&2. I so much enjoyed playing the remastered soul reavers. I managed to platinum both and would love to do the same with (LOKD).
The story line to LOK is so good it leaves you wanting more.

Probably not. Looking like Embracer might be in some trouble and I don't think Aspyr have expressed interest in doing the 5th game.

However, they do have the engine already and assets, so who knows?

If you're wondering should you buy Defiance on PS2 instead? I'd say yeah.

Imo, as an avid lover of LoK. I don't know if it sold enough for Embracer to warrant green lighting the The other games.
From what I understand, there was a lot of work kind of pre existing from what the fans have put together over the years as well as fans having an active hand in shaping the Remasters.
Still, I don't know if that was enough to call it a success for a large cooperation.
Looking at how rare the trophies were doesn't get my hopes up

I know it would be really nice to have an official remaster for Defiance but I recently played it on PCSX2 with the graphics improvements (high resolution, texture filtering, etc) on my computer and it looks almost like a true remaster already.
The only missing thing is full widescreen support. There is a widescreen patch option in the PCSX2's configs but it seems to be glitchy. I didn't tried it in this game but I remember getting visual glitches in other games I tried. But I don't really mind playing in 4:3, I've played games in this aspect ratio for most of my life anyway.
