is this the sega cd game that had the full game on a demo disc?
Yes. In Europe I think. It's good that the Jap version is on the site now. It was one the last games I thought was missing.
 
Amazing game, I always wondered why the dragon was blue on art and cuscenes but green in gameplay.
Yeah, that confused me as well. I guess they were too lazy to change the green color back to blue so it's consistent with the cutscenes and box art.
 
If you haven't played this game, I highly recommend checking it out at least once. It's challenging, has an underrated soundtrack, and has plenty of Japanese charm to keep you invested; from the enemies, to the levels.

(If you want a physical copy, be prepared to sacrifice your arm and leg it fetches a pretty penny over on the secondhand market. And if you can't do THAT, then... Well, I don't know what else you can do at that point lol.)
