As the title says, i want to play a online fighting games but i only have a Android phone, and every place that i look for reccomendations i am answered with "there is none"
It can be by official downloads, emulation, or wathaver, it cant just have 0 games out there

there's GGPO, it's like fightcade but for mobile, it was kind of weird to setup iirc

Have you tried skull girls?
I've heard its a gacha game and o hate gachas, so i will try it if i dont have any other option

I've tried to find a decent fighting game for android before and outside of emulation there wasn't much apart from some SNK ports of arcade games. Mortal Kombat 9 emulates well on android via psvita, I don't know if psvita has online support or not. Tekken V and VI emulate well again, I'm not sure if ppsspp has online support though. Street Fighter IV on 3ds emulates well as well.

I was honestly obsessed with trying to find as many fighting games as possible that would work on my phone for a month or so. For some reason, all the native android fighting games opt for shitty simplified touch controls instead of just requiring a controller. I can't stand the way most mobile games are like that. Not every game needs to be touch first. Especially something like a fighting game. It's not like cheap Bluetooth controllers aren't available pretty much everywhere being pumped out of warehouses in China.

I think the fighting games that could work on mobile could be tekken or soulcalibur, that's mostly because they're not too reliant on the stick for their moves. Seriously though trying to play a fighting game on a touchscreen is a nightmare to try to control, you might be better off just using a controller for that. I think injustice gods among us had a android port at some point and the mortal kombat games did too. I have no idea which apps still work or have been maintained because it's been like almost a decade since I've played anything on mobile that way. Usually just use the PC or steam deck for that.

but yeah looks like fun gonna have to try it out sometime

Brawhalla is probably the most active fighting game you'll find, but it's far from a good game these days.

If you want a completely original FG built for mobile there is Konsui Fighter. Real small community though, it's basically a Discord fighter right off the bat. Other than that, there's the Street Fighter 4 CE port. It's the full game, but the caveat is it looks terrible and runs at 30fps since the port came out way back when phones weren't as powerful.
All the other FG "ports" are original gacha games made for mobile, those being Skullgirls, the 2 Injustice games and Mortal Kombat. If you don't mind the gacha I'd recommend Skullgirls, it retains the most FG mechanic from the original while being made with a touchscreen in mind, the NRS games are just tap to attack and occasionally use specials, you have to mostly rely on your characters' stats to win.
As for emulation, if your phone is powerful enough, nab Eden and use the online room feature. Capcom and SNK basically ported their entire FG catalog to the Switch.
