I'm going to use Walmart as the seller because if you're going to dump almost $900 bucks on the thing, I would assume you would want the one with the optical drive, and you damn sure would want a warranty on something this pricey.
No, no, it's not worth it. Take the 900 bucks and build yourself a decent gaming PC. You can find good used parts sometimes on sale or good deals from eBay, Amazon, etc. Pick your online place. For roughly 900 bucks, I could get an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 CPU, MSI B550M PRO-VDH motherboard, AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB GPU, 32 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, a MSI SPATIUM M450 1 TB M.2-2280 NVMe SSD, a Corsair CX650M Bronze semi-modular power supply....
As for the case. Those are fairly cheap if you don't want something super fancy.
So no with that build, you could play most if not anything you wanted. Mind you, you may not get 4K out of it, but at least you would have one thing over Sony's junk box.
You would have almost anything you wanted to play
*Note - Prices do change on pc parts, so it can vary week to week
