i have found anecdotally that for every other seedling there is another young person sometimes as young as a teenager that is fascinated with the world of leaves and crt televisions and old games
i speak sweetly into your ears - we live in a world of playstation x and or 1 chic

I still play the ps3 online for notably two games and because its online service is free you just have to change some ip server settings in config. socom and world at war are the two games i play online for the ps3.

I really think the ps3 had the best games that gen. rachets, wipeout, the ps2 reasters, etc.

It's a tough question. We could argue about a set number of years after the console's release/end of generation to consider it retro, but people who didn't grow up on it will have a hard time "feeling" it as retro.Personal example: since I bought a PS3 with my own money after graduating from college, it doesn't feel retro for me. If I had gotten it as a Christmas gift at 8, I'd certainly consider it retro, since the same amount of time feels different as you get older.

ps3/xbox360 era, still the last actual gen of unique/creative games, where devs would use their artistic direction/imagination and would also use actual effort in making good games
