I plan to stream more often in a couple of days and I'm sampling as many game requests from my fans for at least an hour. Games I really like I'll try to do a full playthrough later on.
-One game per person, (though I'm making an exception for a close friend of mine who gets two picks)
-You may request a backup game if your first choice can't be played for whatever reason such as financial constraints or trouble with emulation.
-Refrain from Xbox and Xbox 360 emulation as those emulators fucking hate me.
-If you request a PS3 game, make sure that RPCS3 can run it without too much hassle.
-If it's a PC game, keep it under $10 and I can't promise I'll get to it due to limited funds. I prefer to not stream pirated PC games, especially if they're somewhat new, to cover my ass.
-No porn games or anything that would get me in trouble on Twitch please.
-If I have problems with both of your picks, get back to me and we'll try something else.

The first stream will be my choice however: Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition, so I can work out the kinks in my streaming setup as I recently upgraded and reinstalled Windows. I'll inform you of the dates and times as I finalize them, but the first stream should be sometime Sunday. See you then my beloved conduits of nonsense! AWOOOOOOOO

I really hope I can make this one, you know, but new meds and all. I might be to zonked to do anything except sleep a lot for the next few days. That's basically all I have done today.

Don't push yourself too hard Zerp. I'll be streaming on multiple days and the first stream will just be my pick so I can iron out any technical issues. Maybe you'll be used to the medicine by the time it's your game's turn.

As for my game recommendation why don’t try this one.

Imma keep it simple: Etrian Odyssey.
As I’m writing this I’m playing Etrian Odyssey 2 HD on my Steam Deck, but if you think the HD remakes are a tad expensive (fair) you can emulate the entire series. Etrian Odyssey 1-3 are on DS (but do be aware DS Etrian Odyssey 1 is… archaic), while Etrian Odyssey 4, 5, Nexus, both Mystery Dungeon games and both Untold games (Untold 1 & 2 remake Etrian Odyssey 1 and 2 respectively but I don’t recommend playing Untold 1 specifically as a starter solely because it spoils a huge plot point in the original game like 5 minutes into the game, best way to play Etrian Odyssey 1 is HD) have yet to leave the 3DS.

Minus the Mystery Dungeon games, these are all first person dungeon crawlers (think your old school Shin Megami Tensei) but with a lot of unique mechanics that make this franchise stand out. The biggest one is its marketing point, the ability to draw a map to help you get through every floor and stratum. Whatever you draw is permanent and there’s always a large amount of icons and paint you can use to cover all your bases from Etrian Odyssey 2 onwards. 5 and the HD remasters have the added bonus of the icons having unique animations like treasure chests coinciding to when you’ve opened one or when you find a secret passage and the arrow glows forever.

Another thing these games have are skills. When you start the game or create new characters, you’re given 3 skill points for free. You can use them for whatever you want, be it a skill, an attacking move, some outside skills, or something as minor as better escape odds. In earlier games and HD, you can also buff your stats with them. Those are the only time you’ll get 3 at the same time though, every time you level up, you’ll only get one.

FOEs are another selling point of the franchise, they’re essentially walking mini bosses that move when you do. Every one of them has a dedicated pattern that you have to maneuver around…or you can just fight them, that works too. Not recommended at lower levels though.

These games depend heavily on you making a bit of a routine. You basically prep, go into the labyrinth, fight some enemies, discover as much as you can and when you’re at your limit you gtfo whether that be via Ariadne Threads or by running to the exit and hoping you can run from every fight. This guarantees you’ll be sinking time into these games, no matter what you go with.

Every game has some type of unique flaw for deciding to go with them though.

EO1 DS: Archaic in many ways

EO1U: Spoils huge plot point from the original

EO2 DS: Killing FOEs does not net you EXP. It also has the unique thing of a lot of secret areas requiring a specific class to access, which means you’ll have to exit the labyrinth and/or grind characters just for them to make it there. A choice that thankfully didn’t stay.

EO2U: I haven’t played this at all, but from what I hear a few of the bosses might be a bit harder than in the original

EO3: Perfect in every way except dungeon design, they all lack a specific gimmick and are just normal dungeons for the most part. The closest to one is a gimmick that has to be disabled forever to proceed, oof

EO4: Escape rates are HORRENDOUS in this game. It’s a real dice roll if you’ll be able to escape from the most minor of enemies. What’s kinda funny is that EO2 and 3 has the opposite problem

EO5: Union Skills are a stripped equivalent of the skill chart and it makes the skill menu nigh useless. Union is this game’s equivalent of Force/Boost/whatever, so it’s something that’s gonna be filled up over time. Also some classes are kinda strange. Shaman and Botanist are the exact same class but one deals in passive heals while the other is traditional. Makes me wonder why it couldn’t just be one class with both

Nexus: Greatest hits Etrian Odyssey game featuring a lot of throwbacks to the games from 1-4. Don’t play this first.

I don't know your time table schedule for games, so I will recommend my most favorite psx game....Parasite Eve. It is about 12 to 20 hours, depending on how you play it.

I'm actually planning to play that in full this October for the first time. Would you like to pick something different?

Uhh...Catgirl. Made by City Girl, a composer I follow on Bandcamp.

Not really selling it am I? It's free I guess?

That should be easy for me to emulate. My computer runs PCSX2 with zero issues most of the time, except for that one stream where The Fast and The Furious kept crashing while my streaming/recording software was running. In case that happens, do you have a backup pick?
Pirate Doom YARRRRRRR!
YAAARRRRRRRRR

If I only get to play one, which should I pick? I don't think I'll get to play every one of these games to completion on stream, but if you pick one that gets me hooked, I might play one to completion at a later date.
God Hand or Onimusha 2 would be nice!
Been meaning to play God Hand. Now I have an excuse to bump it up in the backlog.
Silent hill origin in psp! Fist challenge!
Does it matter if I pick the PSP or PS2 version? I had it on PS2 growing up.

Looks cute and it's legally free. I'll add it to the list.

For everyone who did or is about to recommend Parasite Eve, stop it. I am going to play that IN FULL this October over the course of the month as a Halloween special! I know the fan base for this game is very passionate and I hear you, so do not start clogging up the thread.

B-but Parasite Eve is a Christmas game.
but thats heresy.jpg

This, with the nude patch injected XD
It has jiggle physics XD
s-l960.jpg

I am kidding, it doesn't have jiggly physics <nor do I want you to play this awful game

I already decided beforehand that Devil May Cry 3 will be the first stream, most likely tomorrow. I recently upgraded my computer and reinstalled Windows, so I'll be using the DMC3 stream to iron out technical issues such as poor volume mixing before I get to tackling requests, so if you can tolerate some jank (and who am I kidding, any fan if mine is used to shit going wrong), you'll probably get a whole stream to your pick.
Just here to say I always come to your streams to place hate comments, love you Iyi < 3
Thank you for stress testing my trolling and slur filters.

Ok, sorry for a day delay, but looking for a fun game that you might not have played, I will suggest....Sweet Home for the famicom. This is the cult classic capcom game that inspired resident evil games. It is a great game with permadeath rpg form, puzzles to solve and general just everything that makes a great survival horror in 8 bit format.

You got it. I'll add it to the list.

Just a heads up: I may not be able to get to everyone's suggestions during my vacation, but I'll try to get to whatever is leftover on other streams. Also, close friends and significant contributors to the channel (donors, artists for banners and models and such, moderators, etc.) will get higher priority as I move down the list. Since I can't afford to pay everyone that helps me what they deserve, I have to give perks in other ways at the very least.

Any of them really. Etrian Odyssey 1 HD is pretty much THE way to play that game, Etrian 2 HD is really fun, and of course Etrian Odyssey 3 HD is the first time that game was actually ported.

The commonly agreed upon darling of the three is Etrian Odyssey 3 and honestly it’s easy to see why. It has the most content by far. The best music, multiple endings to choose from plus a NG+ to do that (and in HD multiple saves), a skill that allows for benched members to gain exp in the background so you can mix and match at any time with no issue (though the Picnic mode that can be switched to any time as long as your in the town would also make a lot of potential grinding a little easier plus extra exp on unused members from what I just said), the ability to sub class (which is adding a second class to your characters basically) a little bit halfway into the game, by far the coolest roster of original classes, a story, etc. It’s great. Just be warned that the first boss is one hell of a difficulty jump. Use weapon forging and oils to your advantage for that fight.

Etrian Odyssey 2 HD isn’t a bad pick either. Bit of a beginner’s trap at the start though (they’ll drag you to a point in the first stratum and it’s recommended to have a Medic or War Mage on hand for healing skills). It’s also the only game where FOEs don’t give exp. But you’ll get used to those quirks.

Beware: There have been no replies in this thread for 90 days.
Keep that in mind when expecting a reply from the people on it,
You can also start a new thread instead. This is just a heads-up, bumping is allowed in this forum.
