My feed(s) dont have that much interesting stuff unlike Twitter (specially content in spanish since thats my main language) and few people I follow on Twitter are in bluesky fyi.

The "spanish" feeds are the ones I dislike the most because people just talk about polítics

Yeah I feel the same. It's a way better site (functionally) with actual moderation and stuff but it did nothing to quell the fact that absolutely no one will move to it because who even knows what the fuck a BlueSky is? They really should advertise it more, that's the only way to even make a dent in any of the popular social medias even if it does nothing in terms of traffic (see: YouTube's competition)

It's supposed to have a more user driven, customizable algorithm than Twitter, but I haven't tested it. I'm not really active on mainstream platforms outside of Twitch and YouTube. Even then, I interact with YouTube using a frontend like PipePipe when I'm not using my content creation account.

Yeah, I was going to say that it is only a matter of time before BlueSky gets more popular. There's enough English content on it, and I have met some Spanish speakers on it too. Like most things in Latin America, they'll jump on anything that is popular in the United States, so if BlueSky is perceived as a leader over Twitter, the users will follow.

Don't get too carried away be your anger, even if Elon is a twat. I got away from most mainstream platform because they feed off of anger, and I worry that Bluesky will do the same once it get's really big and sells out.

Any Social Media platform is crap. Before it was Tumblr then it was Twitter and now it's BlueSky, the only thing that changes are the names, it's always going to be crap no matter how much moderation or whatever you have on the site it won't change the fact that Social Media is inherently toxic by nature.

Social Media is shit in of itself but Bluesky is admittedly still growing, they should focus on advertising and giving the viewer an incentive to leave their competitors.

I’d agree with you but he’s blatantly supported the AFD and has suppressed people who hurt his feelings, and that’s excluding the fact that he’s cultivated a certain audience on his platform.

A good way to lock a forum for sure which is always fun to see!
But yeah, if people don't like the social media they can always delete their profile and not use the social media instead of mentioning what the 6th post said, as it's not a good idea to ever think that way.
