Hello, i'm living in a foreign country for about 4 years now, i do not know the language very well, looking for remote jobs but failing on all of them because i have no "real" experience. I'm just looking for some "socializing" if it counts because i really do not know how to advance with my life.
To answer some questions that may appear, i worked at a firm that was working in my native language.
I'm kinda asocial, i can't meet people and can't keep a hold of friends in any way.
The firm i worked for had some complicated problems and because of that it shutdown, because of that i can't use the experience from there.
I'm scared of what is gonna happen or what could happen.
I'm not returning to my home country because of personal reasons.
(I just need human interactions, i'm sorry if this topic is not allowed or boring)
This isn’t a boring topic at all. On the contrary, it’s something a lot of people think about when they lose a job, and it’s always good to talk about it in a constructive way.
Uncertainty is part of life for many people, especially when they’re facing new situations they’ve never gone through before.
From what you’ve written, you really don’t come across as antisocial—otherwise, you wouldn’t have started this thread.
You’ve also got youth on your side, and believe me, that’s a huge advantage.
The fact that the company you worked for shut down doesn’t mean you won’t find something better—maybe even in a work environment where you actually feel comfortable.
Real friends are always few and far between, but those are the people you can truly rely on. There’s a natural connection, you usually get each other right away, and of course, it goes both ways.
You’ve got your whole life ahead of you, and we’re here, in our own small way, to listen.
East or west, home is the best.
Since you like irl gaming, check the foreign county Social service, municipal goverment for help, maybe you can get something free or cheap, langage courses or jobs/ training/ meetings etc.
Good luck in finding your feet and getting to do what you want to do. Your already brave for living somewhere different so take that experience as a positive and use it to further everything else you want to do. Your definitely going places.
I understand where you're coming from. Peoples around this age group including me always a hard times of surviving of this economy. The future may be scary especially bad peoples and high prices. By the way welcome to RGT, it's a warm pleasure to meet you and it's great to have another friends.
It sounds like you've got the right ideas already. Keep applying for jobs by submitting high quality applications. Have faith in yourself and your abilities, experience be damned. Lie about experience if needs be - You'll have plenty of opportunities to prove yourself to your employer when you're in work, and they'll offer training too.
The fact you've had employment puts you slightly ahead of the curve. Unless you personally were responsible for your previous business getting a bad rep, you're probably fine to mention it in interviews and the like.
Keep brushing up on the native language, maybe try and meet up with folks at local social clubs and events. All towns and villages have some sort of meet-ups, and even if they aren't usually your kind of thing, give it a shot and you may find a new hobby or interest you enjoy, while making new friends and acquaintances. You should be able to find out more about what's on by searching online or at your local library or community centre. Ask your local government for help as well.
Hey, welcome!
It's a warm and welcoming community so I'm sure you'll like it here.
Life can be hard but as long as you endure it, you're sure to see better days!
At this rate how the world is going well there will be no feature to be scared off. Because if this keeps up companies fleecing every one the hate that spreads left and right and all the violence and the new massive influx of methods of control. Well I spsect we won´t last longer than 2030-2032 tops.
"scoff how much you want at my prediction people did then say at the start of the pandemic when it started in china and I said several time that this would turn in to a whol world issue that could be rather dangerous and yet people scoffed and said it would never lave china and what happen"
Becuse if you look at things shit has just become worse and worse over the past 5 years so that´s why I predict we won´t last long. I might change the tune if we see some positive changes.
So I say don´t be scared we all will be gone in 3-5 years just live life as is be happy and play games you can start being worried if we last longer than 5 years.
Well i've been unemployed for about a month now, i've been sending applications for remote jobs since my language only is enough for english focused jobs. Sadly no positives.

Yeah sadly the country i'm in just started to develop from being a 3 world country and because of that they do not provide services as such to foreigners like myself.

Yeah that definitely is a diffrent kind of perspective, it's just that my character doesn't really accept "the end" which i don't really know if thats good or bad but, i respect your opinion since it really is not that out of range.
