A really cool PS2 Racing game, it reminds me a lot of F-Zero GX and Kinetica. Thank you @destinyduelist for the recommendation.

i have played this game. it split in to you rising through the league then you have to do a second season defending your title, just like the show however once you reach the second half of the game the repetitiveness really sets in and starts getting boring

I'm more surprised of it being a kind of decent review considering it was made for tv and is just a minute and a half long. It's impossible to do a really in-depth piece in so little time, but I swear some youtubers nowadays would waste 20 minutes of our time just to say these exact same points.

Toonamis reviews are all like that. You can find a playlist. It wasn't just anime either, they reviewed RPGs like FFX, fighting games, sports games, etc. for that generation of consoles. When they rebooted in the late early 2010s they reviewed big games, but they also really focused on Indies.

Cartoon Network also did collaborations with Japanese anime studios, such as The Big O season 2, Powerpuff Girls Z, and the FLCL prequel.

Toonami was really trying to push anime in the mainstream with IGPX. They got Hollywood actors like Haley Joel Osment and Michelle Rodriguez.

Immortal Gran Prix was such a badass concept. Racing battle mechs is NEVER not cool. Happy the anime got a semi-decent ending before being cancelled as well.
