If you had the power to force a company to make an exclusive go multi-platform, what would it be and why?

You guys can't help yourselves right? hahahaha OP said just a exclusive and not a ton of different games. You guys would make those companies bankrupt lmao
Well, maybe they need to feel the cold edge of bankruptcy on their spines to understand they ought to widen their public. Mwhahah! or something like that.

Knack is good, but what about KNACK 2 BABY!
You're right, what's better than knack? KNACK 2 BAYBEYYYYYY

Worth it if I get to see Maria Renard summon dragons and shit again while also putting stop signs through the heads of the other contestants in another game

I played this two weeks ago and it's pretty smooth with fan hacks.
Yeah a lot has been done to improve it. Not sure how playable it is compared to the PS1 version, though. It's probably just easier to use a map editor to recreate the underground garden area that was cut from said version, haha.

Oh absolutely, the load times on bringing up the menu and map are still pretty rough. I'd say in it's current state it's worth a playthrough if you've played SOTN on PS1 a million times already and want something novel, but not otherwise.

If I had that power I would force Sony to make the Gravity Rush games multiplatform, that franchise deserve to be played by more people. And I would 100% force Vanillare to release their old and new games in other consoles and PC (society can evolve if they release Dragon's Crown Pro on other things).

Panzer Dragoon Saga. More people should get a chance to play it without either jumping through the hoops of emulation or paying $1000 for an original. This is in my ideal scenario where the source code wasn't lost, etc

I'm probably in the absolute minority, but I like Saga more than the other two games. Rail Shooters were never my thing.

I'm okay with the rail shooters, and Orta shows how good one of those games can look on even 20 year-old hardware, but I agree. There's just something about Saga. Even with Saturn textures being chunky and wobbly, it was just such a neat presentation and atmosphere. I don't regret selling many of the things I've sold over the years, but that's one of them. A few years back I had debated buying a copy that was at Pink Gorilla in Seattle for $1000, and I finally decided, "I know this is a bad decision, but you know what? I'm gonna just go do it." So I got there and a guy had bought it the evening prior, I had spent too long pondering the decision. In hindsight, kinda glad I didn't drop that much on a single game, even if I do think it's really great, heh.

Honestly emulation has improved enough these days that you don't need burn a hole in your pocket to enjoy some classics.

Oh, I know. I just wanted to own a copy again. That and Ninja Five-O are probably my two biggest game regrets, heh. Never should've let them go!

i think outside of Bloodborne (which this no longer applies to LUL) i haven't thought about any games in terms of being 'exclusive' to a platform for like over a decade+ when it was actually a thing

particularly with the glut last year of mainline console slop games getting actual PC ports on Steam, and shadps4 getting mature enough to actually play bludbarn, the very notion of an 'exclusive' is diminishing with greater intensity

Other than Bloodborne and MGS4,
Onimusha 2, 3 and 4 remasters would be nice. Like what they did with 1.

Little Big Planet 3.
A PC release would make SOOOOOOO many people happy.
But also, just having it available on something like the Switch would be a huge boon.

Never played it, which is why my pick is Little Big Planet, make a new one already sony, you already showed you do not care about money, just give the money to an actually good game this time and make it multi platform. (like all sony games are now)

Helldivers 2 would benefit with more players.

Its so hard to choose just one. Do I go for a selfish choice of a more niche game just because I wanna spread the good word to more people? Do I choose a multiplayer game that has since had its servers shuttered and hope that this time it finds a better audience to keep it going? Or do I pick something popular that I just want more people to have access to?

Originally I wanted to say Smash but I realize it solves very little.

I guess I'll go for niche exclusive and either say Twisted Metal 2012 or Drawn to Death. They're two of my favorite multiplayer games and I'd just love to get to play them online again! 2012 at least has Xlink kai type stuff to let people get together and play but Drawn to Death is just permanently lost media.
