If you could have a conversation with your teenage self...

I feel like I wouldn't say much because for all the bad stuff that happened, I'm still here, and there was a lot of good that happened. Some of the good even happened as a direct result of having the bad happen. So I don't think I'd go back and be like "don't get involved with these people" or "don't visit this place" or whatever. I wouldn't want to erase people who've come into my life or things I might not have known otherwise. I might go back with like... the winning numbers for a powerball on the week before someone won a huge jackpot, but within the last year or so. That way my experience is still largely the same, but going forward I can take care of people? It's tricky. Unless we're talking DBZ-style time travel where it won't affect me anyway, and then I can tell kid me everything and maybe that dude will be famous for foretelling the future and also knowing when to retire from fortunetelling.

... What would you tell him/her?

I think I'd tell myself to live a little, to not be afraid of rejection, and to stop hanging out with people who openly hate me just to further my own self-destructive behavior.

What about you?
Dodge that punch, watch your sides, and finish it without a scratch, your ばあちゃん will be angry at you...

That girl who lives near you, tell her how you feel before she moves away forever

It gets better from here

(and so much other stuff omg what a good topic)

With this character's death, the thread of prophecy is severed. Restore a saved game to restore the weave of fate, or persist in the doomed world you have created.

To say it...
Keep enjoying life as you have done, without losing that smile.
And recommend that he stay away from those friends he has met and tell him who to never trust, and after all, to keep researching, so that he can continue with his goals in life...

I would tell him that his ADHD doesn't make him defective or broken. It's just something he has to learn to deal with and he should go to therapy for it so that he'll be the better for it in the future like being able to regulate his emotions better. I'd also tell him to get off his ass and do his goddamn school work. Not to mention he needs to get himself a girlfriend. Oh, and he should learn as much about video games as possible and get on the YouTube bandwagon N-O-W NOW! Lastly, I'd tell him to do more with his social life because all I did was go home and play video games and watch TV. I never really got to do any "normal teen" stuff and I kind of regret it.

Don't be afraid to date more women. You'll eventually find the right one, so have fun until then.

And, don't pursue music as a job. Get a real job, that will pay real money, so you can live comfortably, afford nice things and a family and have a nice savings, and not be stuck working nights and weekends in your 30s to the point where you end up hating music entirely, stop going to shows, and quit playing guitar and audio production completely, because you tried turning your passion into a job. Don't ruin it as a hobby you love by trying to turn it into your life.

"Yo lil me, stop being a weirdo and actually learn or pursue something while also being a mature, respectful and basically a disciplined student. Also, DON'T WATCH THAT MINECRAFT VIDEO WITH THAT ANIME LOOKING CREEPER GIRL"

Sounds like the kind of thing an adult tells a kid but they don't listen. ?

Maybe a list of games for dad buy then to sell back once dad loses his job later, tell myself to embrace your nerd self and just buy the dojin or anime series because both are now scarce in most dealer's dens. And maybe try to scare myself into leaving home far more earlier.

-Don't internalize the world's negativity. It doesn't make you wiser or more grown up. It'll only eat you alive. Being kind will pay off in the long run.
-Your life won't immediately go from awful to perfect once you get out of your....unfortunate upbringing, but you'll get better. Don't be too hard on yourself.
-Invest in Bitcoin and Nvidia stocks ASAP.

I would have told that bum to not download Warframe and start that hellish grind. I'd also tell him to keep that Vita and not sell it. I'd also reassure that things will get way worse, but they'll also get better so look at each day with optimism instead of expecting the worst.

Keep your old consoles and games you moron you could be half rich if you did. I mean I owned orginal in the box The Flintstones: The Surprise At Dinosaur Peak game that today costs 1600-2000 bucks for a dang NES game. I also owned a few other games that worth 100s of bucks.

Also would tell my self don´t grow up being so bitter.
Sold almost all my old NES and SNES games in my 20s, which is why if you're ever in a relationship with someone, even if you really love them, you do not listen to them if they want you to sell your games; instead you tiptoe around the subject and then when they are distracted, you get all of your stuff and leave them as quickly as possible.

I mean it, there were Final Fantasys, Megaman Xs, all of it. Probably 10-20k worth (nowadays) of games (I sold over 200 for super nintendo alone) and I got like $200 for it.

Move past the gaslighting about your condition, you actually do need to get lab tested and medicated for your heart.

You won't graduate with that double degree because the college will cut that in half without warning and remove the side of it you were actually interested in. You're better off shifting than staying the course. Honestly, stop stubbornly enduring your issues in general, either confront them or gtf-outta there.

Stop self-sabotaging and doing everything so halfheartedly. You are shaped by the activities you spend time on, despite how forgettable or mundane they seem.

In terms of education - > Don't take pre-calculus ! You're gonna have an awful teacher who thinks 40% pass rate in his class is OKAY while other teachers have their pass rate closer to 90%. Also Future you won't actually need it in the program at the polytechnic you'd be in ! ( Would probably result in getting 2 more credits needed to have the entire last half of senior year not having to go to school ! )

Aside from that it's a difficult what if ... I mean I wouldn't want to alter too much of how my life is now since I appreciate what I endured and learned from those experiences ... though if I can tell some people I consider friends their teenage-selves how they'll end up ... yeah :/ Bad situations some ended up in

Stop thinking you are better than the others for following the rules. Nobody is rewarding you for it and you aren't getting respect for it. You don't like them, they don't like you. If they are hurting you, why not return the favor, you twerp? Why not be violent? Why not be angry? It doesn't matter that you are the second shortest, nobody can withstand getting hit with a chair to the back of the head. You won't get expelled for it either because they vandalize the school and interrupt your education and they don't get punished for it so why would you? Don't be afraid of hurting others, they only listen when they are down. It doesn't matter that nobody will be friendly with you anymore, you don't cultivate friendships anyway. Get that desire of revenge out of your system now because you will lose your chance to do so but the desire will never go away.

Also, don't waste your time fantasizing about getting together with the girls you like or somehow making friends with everyone. They don't like who you are, you have nothing in common with them and you are too short.

And hack your 3ds. You are missing out.

Yep. It's one of those things where growing up, I was told by parents and teachers to "follow my dreams" and "if I get a job doing something I love, it won't ever feel like work", and I wish that they instead told me "your dreams are stupid. Get a real job like the rest of the world, and live a successful life". Sometimes kids dreams need to be crushed, otherwise they grow up to be bitter, angry adults, when their "dreams" turn into failure.
