I believe you get sent to an asylum, but this was like in the 1900s in the US tho.

But no seriously I think some places treat suicide attempts like murder attempts which this probably would count as.

If the assassin failed to kill you can charge him/her 1.5x of the agreed amount for breach of contract.

But also remind that assassin that there's no one else who can pay 'em if you die.

Edit: I think it really depends on the contract. That's why you add some fine print, to guarantee results.
