I am also a German.My Ma is German and my ravenfather that did not raise me is an American,making me a born American Citizen wich gave me all the Duties of one including American Tax together with the German one.And Germany was a nice country but its going downhill especially with the Deindustrialization.Everything goes to shit and things are not getting better but worse.And the Goverment i better say nothing on them otherwise the send the KGB after me probably.

Wow, I didn't know that was possible in Europe. In Spain, if you are born here, it does not matter if your parents are from China, Australia or Russia, you're spaniard and you're bound to spanish law and duties, and it does not matter even if the president of the US himself comes to get you, you're basically untouchable until you're 18. Then you have the right to choose what nationality you want to be, or in special cases you can have dual nationality if there is agreement with your parent's country.

Yes as a American Citizen it works a bit different here sadly,for Example if would work and would earn enough Money I would be Forced to pay two Taxes at the Same time the American and German one and both are quite high,also when America would have Conscription i would not be save from it in Germany as they would force me even here,meaning I have all the Duties and I mean all of an American without any of the Rights and Protections of an American Citizen they also would not protect my Freedom of Speech in Germany and neither would they protect me from Forced Conscription into the Germany Military.

I find that very surprising, really. Can't you just drop any US connection for good? I've been reading about this matter because I am curious, and it seems you can give up on US citizenship if you present some documents and pay a fee, as long as you are German / Europe citizen, you're safe, and then US won't be able to request you anything. You can do that when you're on age and from Germany.

Unless your father / mother are spies from governtment and your family is under surveillance, you won't have any connection with US whatsoever after that.

I find that very surprising, really. Can't you just drop any US connection for good? Well, that's an unfair comparison. Germany is a country way better than North Korea, although north korean girls are way more cute than german ones lol. But even so, comparing North Korea with US is not a good example in my case, as I consider US one of the worst countries on earth, and depending on the situation I would stay in North Korea, as long as I am doing my way and not involved in political shit I don't think I would have big issues there. And getting a cute girl is a plus :)

Well, I didn't know Germany was so badly considered by their citizen. There should be enough reasons I believe. I suppose it's the same feeling to when I say Spain is a crappy country lol.

Japan but doing remote work for a foreign company, because I'd rather be paid in dollars or euros than yen. Those who go to live in that country and want to be paid poorly just like many Japanese citizens seem kinda weird to me

Exactly . I could ramble about Immigration and stuff for a long time but thats only one huge issue that could be solved if it isnt combined with a much bigger issue that worsens things immensly . Our politics and bureaucracy is an utter disaster and rotten up to the core .

That is sadly a understatement.Deutschland geht vor die Hunde.We don't have clowns in Germany we are the whole Circus.Wich I shame I love my Country its Beautiful but I despise the current system deeply.And I only see bleak considering the Future.And I would not call the US one of the Worst Countries in the World its actually one of the best once if you ask me,sure it has its Major Problems mainly in the big Cities wich are a Hellhole,but on the countryside in more rural areas and small towns its quite nice,and you have many Freedoms wich are not enjoyed in other countries.America is a huge country wich also means that quality in living can vary greatly.

And I do love me my German Woman,but the Culture has gone to shit and so has the dating life,its near to Impossible to start a good Future in Germany.And I do Compare Germany to North Korea on purpose we may not yet be as bad as North Korea but we are on our best way to be like them,lets just say we are not gaining any Freedoms in Germany.

I Can't speak for other Countries but in Germany the Minority of Germans is Rich and Well off most people with Money are Business Man and Politicians the Average German struggles with Money nowadays as we have High Taxes and Increasing prices,and it gets worse,little to nothing from our Taxes is Spend on Germany,our Streets are bad and so is our Infrastructure and its getting worse.Germany may be Rich as a Nation but the Germans are not as a People,the Politicians are,we had a Functioning Middle Class many years ago but its almost completely destroyed increasing the gap between poor and rich.I wanted to say more things about the shit Situation on Germany but I don't need the KGB kicking in my Door for thought crime I would not be the first one.
By the Way our Tax Money is spend on such Great things like Bycicle way in Peru and for Entwicklunsghilfe in China as we still pay to Develop China with our Taxes.
