I Present A Strange Hypothetical...

Nope! low hanging fruits don't get enough sunlight, haha.
Maybe play a ps1 game to sweeten the taste
Such ass…………..
Nah, forget it, I’ll hate myself even more for posting the next one…

Now I'm morbidly curious, I have to say.
Ah damn, I made it worse, I accidentally hyped up something really lame!
Oh well, don’t gold your breath…. (You need oxygen, after all)

I’m an asshole!

I present you with another hypothetical…
Why are you in a box? Why trapped you? Was it…? Spider-Man?!
No, it was either Layne Staley and/or Jerry Cantrell. Those magnificent bastards...
(I intend to use a better title when I think of one.)

As for the topic, PC/DOS would probably inflict the most suffering, but I was thinking the NES when I made the topic. When you get past the classics, you have probably 1,300 or so games to work through. There'd be some hidden gems, but the NES had a pretty huge amount of slop. Not even mentioning how insanely unfair and almost impossible to play some of them were. You'd also be required to learn Japanese by now because half the games were Japan only.

Any old computer like the Commodore or ZX Spectrum but you don't get a game, you're given a game magazine that lists winning entries of codes that you have to type up yourself to play crappy games. Not only will I do work but I'll have to learn everything from scratch and still don't know if it's right.

This is a very interesting and cool choice, Final Fantasy Tactics knight. I'll admit, I'm not too familiar with how games were made on those computers. From what I gather there's magazines with code (BASIC? Binary?) that you enter and it lets you play a game by essentially copying someone's code? I know cassette tapes and sound files were games too for older computers. Regardless, that's a really neat choice with an ungodly amount of potential for suffering. ::biggrin

That's roughly what I was imagining, but it's also worse than I imagined. I would miss one or more of those insane amount of zeroes, no question. Also, I noticed it starts at 165, is there 164 lines of code on previous pages? Is there more past 227? BOTH?

anything XBOX, they always get the shittier versions of games, and almost no good exclusives. : )
Don't let the author of this list hear you say that. Okay, I'm sure it's a bunch of people contributing to the list, but I like to think it's one very devoted individual. I'm fairly sure the XBox wins every time, even for really, uh, questionable reasons as my boyfriend and I discovered while looking over the list.

Yeah not gonna lie, that list is pretty stupid, first off, the majority of games in the list are fifa or sports games, second in 80% of the cases the port is "better" just because it has slightly better graphics, or one or 2 minor pieces of extra content. ( * _ * )

Right? I mean, I guess slightly better graphics and stuff IS technically better, but who the fuck is going to notice for 90% of the games? For us, there's also emulation to take into account. XBox emulation is not the best yet. GC and PS2 emulation are in a really good place though. Not perfect, but good enough for most of their libraries.
