I love the trope of powerful yet petty villains

For example: I love how Lord Hater is shown to be both hyper intelligent and powerful enough to single-handedly crush planets without breaking a sweat, but his manic obsession with Wander makes him unable to do dick and always causes him to fail at his planetary conquest missions.

I also like how Zim is shown to be a capable invader who could have easily conquered Earth like two weeks into his mission (if that), but seems content with throwing muffins at Dib instead — he just can't get over that pettiness, even at the cost of his every plan.

What are your favorites examples of this sort of thing?
