I can only find peace through a lobotomy, drugs, smoking, vaping, amnesia or hypnosis

Also I don't wanna meditate since it's more stressful than anything since it's just saying uhmmm uhmmm for like an hour while sitting crosslegged with your eyes closed until you get fed up

That's... not what meditation is...
 
Then why is it portrayed like that everywhere?
Hollywood and a general misunderstanding of what meditation is leads to a cliched portrayal. Kinda like how everyone think's ninjas ran around in black pajamas.

  • Sit in a quiet, comfortable place.
  • Set a short time limit if you’re a beginner (e.g., 5–10 minutes).
  • Focus on your breath and notice bodily sensations.
  • Gently return your focus to your breath when distractions occur.
  • End with a moment of kindness and self-reflection.

Find a quiet place, take deep breaths and focus on the sensation of the air entering and leaving. Try to keep your mind clear and null and re-center when it drifts. Try to go for 5 to 10 minutes when you start instead of an hour or two.
