I built a remake of the MS-DOS classic "Gorilla.bas" - now with the AI opponent we never had.

Back in the day, Microsoft shipped a "hidden" gem with DOS 5.0 to showcase QBasic: Gorilla.bas. It was a simple premise - two gorillas on a city skyline throwing explosive bananas - but it was incredibly addictive.

The only problem? Finding a friend to play with. That was easy in the 90s, but a bit harder these days! To fix that, I decided to build a remake. This version features a Computer AI, so you can finally test your trajectory skills even when you’re solo. You're the next ENIAC, and I hope you're not that old to get my joke here.

Any other jokes aside, who here remembers that game?

ah ah, this brought me back to the school days

we had some Olivetti with green phosphor monitors, that game was perfect in the pauses

I never even knew this existed!

That's SO COOL, dude.
