How varied is your taste.

I've been into music my whole life and have a wide variety of music I listen to.

While AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, and the like have been my go-to bands for the most part, and in my teenage years I listened to Rage Against The Machine, Soundgarden, Limp Bizkit, and a lot of that era, nowadays I find myself mellowing out a lot more with my music.

I've discovered I really enjoy listening to Norah Jones and Jazz. I've really missed out by not listening to Jazz more in my life. I enjoy slow blues music as well.

Another genre of sorts is video game music. It's amazing how beeps and boops can become more than I realized as a child. The Legend of Zelda, Castlevania, and Donkey Kong all have fantastic soundtracks. There's other more unusual songs like the title screen from Waterworld on SNES that has a great vibe to it.

I follow playlists on YouTube that are compilations of relaxed video game music and I've found it to be very enjoyable, especially while doing tasks that become mundane and boring.

I like
Black Metal, death metal, pornogrind, grindcore, noise, progressive rock, skate punk, hardcore, edm, breakcore, ambient, folk, vgm, pop, trap, rap, industrial, jazz fusion

Most played artists of 2014-2024

Somewhat, although I have a preference based on my most played artists of the last decade.

I take somewhat "pride" in my open-mindness and varied taste although at the same time I respect everyone for having their own tastes and limits whichever they may be. I also love seeing that a lot of people in this forum have a really wide range when it comes to music, films and such and I've already discovered some pretty good stuff here.

I'm not going to list every genre that I actively listen to, but I can easily go from the harshest Black Metal or Speedcore to cheesy Pop, Salsa or even Flamenco. It's always funny when I put my library on shuffle when with friends and trying to guess what will come up next lmao

My friends use to tell me my biggest irony as a metal head is I listening to Hatsune Miku's songs. But what can I say? I'm in love with her and her voice. Also any song that involves instruments like violin and piano is an auditory delight for me. Other genres I like are blues, jazz, hard rock and mexican ballads

It depends of my mood but I don't think "I like a bit of everything" to be that enticing for someone.
