I've been into music my whole life and have a wide variety of music I listen to.
While AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, and the like have been my go-to bands for the most part, and in my teenage years I listened to Rage Against The Machine, Soundgarden, Limp Bizkit, and a lot of that era, nowadays I find myself mellowing out a lot more with my music.
I've discovered I really enjoy listening to Norah Jones and Jazz. I've really missed out by not listening to Jazz more in my life. I enjoy slow blues music as well.
Another genre of sorts is video game music. It's amazing how beeps and boops can become more than I realized as a child. The Legend of Zelda, Castlevania, and Donkey Kong all have fantastic soundtracks. There's other more unusual songs like the title screen from Waterworld on SNES that has a great vibe to it.
I follow playlists on YouTube that are compilations of relaxed video game music and I've found it to be very enjoyable, especially while doing tasks that become mundane and boring.
