How many have played through Doom II and encountered these B**ches?

but, are they worse than pain elementals?
Next time you fight a Pain Elemental just get up in their grill and hug them. So long as you hug em tight all their hits miss so you get to blast away without a care in the world. When you kill it simply sprint backwards in a diagonal line and the revenant skull will miss you as it flies out.

Still annoying lil buggers but manageable!

I feel like playing through Doom II on Ultraviolence got me the doom guy armor for my 360 avatar? I forget what you had to do, but I know I did it. Fun game, albeit a bit stressful when these dudes show up

Tactics, guys, it's all about tactics and timing! You have to learn to dodge left/right, while simultaneously rotating around the Archvile while continuously shooting, possibly with the most powerful weapon available. It takes patience. But they are rare. ?
