How do you feel about seeing people "generating content" in public?

If I see anyone doing it in italy Im gonna ask them why they touched me and my sister as a child

I don't see it terribly often which is kind of surprising really given I'm in a pretty big Canadian city. Every once in awhile I do though, and if I can I'll go out of my way to photo bomb them by walking past them like some sort of rare cryptid sighting. I think it's pretty cringe personally, but that's about it.

Once I did interrupt this girl doing I guess a TikTok dance video or something, she had her phone propped up in front of her. She was just going at it right in front of an alley I use to get to my works back entrance, so I walked sideways past her while doing as weird of a face as I could pull off. She laughed it off luckily, she seemed nice.

I mean
as a vtuber is weird for me seing IRL people making content even though i am not exactly free from the weirdness. :3
to add to this also i think is should more consensual in them making stuff in public. As much as i hate journalists (sorry if anyone here is a journalist, but journalism here in Chile legit suck) as least most of them have the decency of asking if you want to be on camera. Tiktokers, youtubers and other internet "influencers" often don't ask and that legit piss me off, because some people get ridiculized on the internet without even wanting to be in the publics eyes.

I never really see it in person though I live in a big city, but then again I haven't hung around outside as much in the past 2-3 years. As far as I know the local content creator scene is pretty young (as far as people making money at it) and they all want to be liked so I haven't heard of anybody doing anything too outrageous in public. Hopefully it stays that way and we don't get Vitaly and Johnny Somali types.

If someone is doing it respectfully (ie not filming people who aren't trying to interact with them or making a show in a restaurant or something) then I don't mind. If someone was doing a food review at another table, I wouldn't bother them and it wouldn't bother me.

I saw an awkward interruption at the bus station. I wasn't involved. These two boys, about 14, were filming themselves dancing. A woman with a substance problem that I see often approached them and asked if they had a dollar. They said no. So then she asked them if they had CashApp.

I know she's zonked off her gourd. But they were kids. I wonder if they kept her in the video since they had the phone propped up on a ledge and she was in full view.
