Tons of small surface scratches like that are pretty common if not inevitable for CDs. Aside the line on left side of the disc that disc is likely to be fine, heck it likely is even with that those discs and lasers are resilient fuckers.

That AES warping looked like a photoshop, cut scene from the Matrix or something before registering that it is actually real.

The Super Mario Bros 3 is at least funny.

And it's easier to apply a new sticker to a cartridge than closing the scratches.

i have a GameStop shop near that still have PS1 games;
sadly many cd's conditions are very close to that first pic

i think someone plays with cd's in different way that just insert it into the console

How do you even let something get in a shape like that? I mean the NES cart and the CD, I understand it happens. But FFS... that poor Sega, and I assume SNES....

How even? The Neo Geo looks like it was around open flame or stored somewhere WAY too hot or the like..

I mean all my old consoles, Aside from a bit of yellowing... but that's to be expected with 30+ year old plastic... they look like they just came out of the box. Yes, some have a few minor cosmetic scratches. Again, these are 20 and 30+ year-old consoles that I bought secondhand over time..

But STILL!!!

I grabbed an SMS2 from UK that looked worse than that one.

I hit it on the shop floor outside with an air compressor to start cleaning it out, while joking about the British selling Canadians rusted out garbage again.

I remember trying something similar to the Super Mario Bros. 3 when I was a little kid and some of my Gameboy advance's cartridges got their sticker worn off lmao.

This NeoGeo appears to be melted? This reminds me of a listing I saw online for an old microcomputer pretty recently. It was all melted and deformed like that and the seller said it happened because they put it next to their stove. I don't understand why on earth it would even be in the kitchen in the first place.

Truly the Horrors what I also despise when I buy Retro games is when the place stickers on your cover that you can't remove without destroying the cover.

Also Krümel (crumbs) inside the Game box its disgusting as its apparently much to ask to clean the game first before selling it.

The last game I bought had some crumbs 😤

Oh, yeah,
Those fucking stickers.

They usually come off without any trouble. But sometimes they tear the insert.

Is it really that hard to put the sticker on the outside of the case—on the plastic—instead of on the insert?

Its really annoying as hell its the worst when they stick it on the paper I also dislike when they put it on the plastic surrounding the paper but its less ass still sucks though.

I had to change the Box thanks to this once just to have a good looking box..just why I wonder as if they do that on purpose sometimes.

To be fair, Dreamcast and Saturn cases, even when new...

The sticker... or the 20$ for a Crash game?
(both are equally bad)
