Other Zeldas have scary bits, from Wind Waker's Redeads (the worse version of them) to the Silent Realms in Skyward Sword.

Ah yes! The OOT well's boss was terrifying. Deserves to be in a "Creepiest Game Enemies" hall of fame.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic has giant spider sections, including entering their nests with dozens of then that follow you everywhere. One part is a big wall and suddenly you see a whole army of spiders following you and no matter how much u climb they catch up with you. Scarier than any horror game if u ask me.

I mean, sure, it is technically a "horror" game in the loosest sense of having aliens running around trying to attack you in a lightgun game, but this one always stuck with me as a kid because the first time it got me good and every other time I was bracing for it or walked away before it happened. A quite evil Game Over to have in an arcade in my opinion.

Security sector in Abiotic Factor. It's all dark and on top of that there is an semi-invincible monster prowling around. First time i was in there i was scared af. He can be made to go away for a couple of seconds buy shooting him with a laser, but he is never truly gone. He can be cheesed with invisibility armor tho. Also, usually he is isolated to the security sector, but an event can happen, where he will be able to spawn ANYWHERE for like a whole day.
