Forgot Leynos 2. Genuinely one of my favorites on the system and it has since gotten an english release through City Connections S-Tribute line

SpikeOut is also generally forgotten as a whole. Id say that whole series is worth checking out but in this instance I want to put a spotlight on my personal favorite of the series, SlashOut. Fun weapon based beat 'em up in a fantasy setting with a killer soundtrack.

I remember playing games that were never on any lists of popular/best games on PS2. I enjoyed them a lot. There were a ton of sports/racing games but one of my favorites that stayed in my memory is Shrek: Carnival Craze.
Cousins and friends from my neighborhood would gather around and play them together, and had such a fun time. Shame I don't have that spark anymore for it, neither do I have the time to play as much. There were also other games but I can't seem to remember them as I am writing this, maybe only Hugo games.

Not sure how niche it would be but I enjoyed a lot of Ed Edd n Eddy Misedventures back in the PS2 era. Fully completed the game.

Splatter Master, a side-scrolling hack n slash that i found at my local gamestop for like 5 euros. Totally forgot about it until I found a video essay about 505 low budget ps2 games. I totally had a blast with that one even though i never finished it.

Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy.
It's considered a sister-series of Atelier, with a goofy anime plot, semi-difficult gameplay, and wonderful music. Solid all-around.
