I would say it's nostalgia for me, but I download to pass time in school, and man I forgot how good it was.

I dare say, it feels like playing, uh, Gears of War for the psp? But yeah, I don't see many people talking about it.

There's also Disaster Report on the PS2, called SOS: The Final Escape in PAL regions.

And there's Disaster Report 4 on the PS4.

Arx Fatalis.

I'll never forget being blown away watching the dough cook by the fire in the beginning of that game. The world building was excellent too.

Ace Combat: The Belkan War! It's not exactly the most popular game around (being a PS2 game released in 2006 doesn't help), but it's definitely a gem. The PS2 Ace Combat games in general are a real treat, so definitely check them out.

Recently discovered this X Files game that is surprisingly good!
its very similar to Silent Hill and Resident Evil

for some reason it wont save or load game on PCSX2 so you have to use save states but no big deal

Haunting Ground for the PS2 deserves more love honestly. It is just a shame that it had to be overshadowed by Silent Hill 3 and Resident Hill 4.

WTF: Work Time Fun

It's a bunch of mini games where you earn money to buy trinkets from vending machines.

It's really weird but at the same time really fun.

Gitaroo Man Lives was mentioned in the first post, but I strongly recommend not only play US or EU version, but JP version as well because as far as I remember some songs in it are a bit different.

For me Saints Row 1 is incredibly good. Here in South Korea, this game is pretty rare and underrated(unlike the successor), so I had quite a hard time getting one. Well, yes, many consider Saints Row 2 the greatest, but the overall atmosphere of Saints Row 1 is simply unparalleled and I definitely prefer the original to the successor. Thank you!
