Digimon is looking like the strongest contender!
To be honest, I mainly just felt like making a poll.
Ideally, I would end up playing all of these at one point or another
Honestly, if you can only buy one, you might as well pick this one.

I'm personally a fan of DQ which is why I'd pick this one first. Still gonna wait for a sale though as I am on a tight budget at the moment.
And as I said, it probably won't be the best version of the games anyway.

get a Job in the Navy

And then you have Yakuza 8. A Japanese game set mostly in Hawaii, with an extremely awkward dub no matter which one you go with! ::sailor-embarrassed
I know! I went with the original Japanese, and they had native English speaking characters with heavy Japanese accents! :loldog

I hate that I can't watch the Video le sigh probably some copyright thing in Germoney again.

I always go with Japanese for Yakuza, because that's what I'm used to for that franchise. It's just really hard to tell a story about a Japanese man lost in America when they all verbally speak the same language no matter the dub! ::sailor-embarrassed

Ah, sorry. It's "In the Navy" by Village People.

I just genuinely can't accept any other voice but the Japanese VA's for Kiryu and Majima at this point. They're so iconic for the character's that any attempt to dub them sounds off, no matter how good the dub actually is.

I discovered the series with Yakuza 0 and there was no english dub so I'm used to the original Japanese voice acting too but I started Yakuza 1 with eng dub and, oh boy, ain't it something :loldog

As funny as it is, I'll switch to the undub.

Well not the Navy but that one is also a banger
Its probably not safe for Work at least the cover of the Video so I just write the Text

Yeah. I rented the first Yakuza with the weird English dub back in the day ::sailor-embarrassed I see why they stopped doing English dubs for a while. Starting from Yakuza 3 on PS3, I became very familiar with the Japanese cast

Yakuza 1 English dub, oh boy...

If nothing else, it's a fun playthrough for the memes

Yeah, same. Although, I will give them props for bringing back the original English VA of Kiryu from Yakuza 1 for the English dub of Yakuza 7. Shame they didn't keep him around going forward, but I'm also sticking with the Japanese dub regardless ::cirnoshrug

I really liked that they brought him back too, it felt like a treat to all the oldhead Western Yakuza fans. I wish they would've kept him for more games too.

I continue being convinced you have some kind of issue with german justice lol. My german friends have never ever experienced anything related, and they like to pirate games, download stuff and play online private servers of games as a weekly basis. They both live in Berlin, but I doubt that's what makes them different :O

Oh of course I look up Tales of Xillia Remake and that one showed up
I really don't know about the quality of the Video but the Cover man ::linkmouthcover

Yeah, I can't take a video with a thumbnail like that seriously ::sailor-embarrassed
