No doubt. Outside of some place like Target doing a "buy 2 get a 3rd free" sale some years back, I don't really recall seeing a way to not pay full price for pokemon.

So I really dig RPGs, and October has sort of become stacked in terms of RPG options! I certainly couldn't afford to buy every game I'm interested, so I'm trying to figure out which I should pick up first and which ones I should save for a later sale.

The Digimon Story games are pretty consistently great, I think Time Stranger would be your best bet!

That said, Pokémon doesn't have the best track record in recent years, and ZA doesn't look much different. As for Dragon Quest, I doubt the remakes bring enough to the table to justify playing them over the originals, lol

Haven't played Tales of Xillia, but i've heard good things about it!

Yeah, part of the tough decision is that these are all part of franchises I typically enjoy quite a bit. Even Pokemon, for all its flaws

DQ XI was so much fun! Especially the expanded S version! I would recommend checking out more DQ games if you haven't yet

Honestly it's just my take but I'd go with DQ if you want a lot of content for your buck, tho I get how you feel there lol.

i got you lad, tales of xillia 1 remastered is the only answer, top 5 modern tales games out there, finally getting upscaled with new stuff and all

I think it might just be me, but I couldn't really tell the difference in the pictures provided for some of those changes. To be honest, gender-restricted clothing in games kinda bugs me in general

You made remember that shin megami tensei 1 and 2 had gender weapon and clothing (with alignment too)

Come to think of it, I'm positive that's still a thing in Persona as well
