Have you ever revisited a game you played a long time ago, and you get to THAT part?

Mitsuo dungeon and all of naoto's gender comedy moments in persona 4
A luta contra o sétimo Colosso em Sotc
Year 2300 in chrono Trigger.
The fight against beldr in Devil survivor
The escape sections of the Kurohyou games
Time missions in GTA games

I hate him. He needs to die. It would not be a crime to throw him from his sky island. Thank Hylia for

the guy who designed the megaman legends 2 S license test demanded a level of mastery seen nowhere else in the game or series, and specifically, demanded sub-mastery of a skill (lifting enemies and throwing them at each other) that comes in handy like, a handful of times later.
those really blew. i think you only need to do them once and on future playthroughs you could just start a new game at the highest one, right?

There is a section in Yakuza 0 and Kiwami where you have to shoot people while in 1st person mode. The problem is that the movement of the reticle is in inverse-axis so it was a nightmare to control it. You can't even use mouse properly since for some reason they didn't implement proper mouse movement so the reticle will move like an analog stick. And you can't change any of this from the menu, they are all fixed. The whole section was such an annoyance to play.

The Ice Cave in Final Fantasy 1, hordes of enemies that can petrify (In a game where you can't heal it in a practical way) or enemies that hit like trucks, confusing layout, and the "boss" compensate being a pushover with a Instakill attack, and no, you can't save it for last since you need the Airship to access the Air and Water Fiend's dungeons, either you beeline it to get the upgraded classes ASAP or do the Mount Gulg first and pray the grinding there lets you survive

I still haven't finished that game, but the dungeon in chapter 6 of Yakuza:LaD. Holy fuck it really overstays its welcome, it's loooong af. I've seen there's a mod to considerably shorten it, so if I ever replay the game I'll surely install it.

Can't recall a particular title right now, but when there's some escort mission and the character you must protect has very low hp and/or is already surrounded by enemies and/or its ai is dumb making it going into danger. Also when in platform titles there are VERY difficult and frustrating sections that require deadly precision or multiple-jumps-and-running with many buttons to press at once. Oh, and timed quests/missions (with literal timer in minutes and seconds onscreen), sometimes it feels good but sometimes it does not.

I think Heroes is a good game overall despite it being pretty janky.
However, I do NOT like Bingo Highway and I think it's by far the worst level in the game.

i really want to replay assassins creed rogue but then i remember i have to follow targets and its like no nvm

What's "that part" of a particular game that makes you absolutely not want to replay it?

For me? One is Taris in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I really want to play through the game again someday but the prospect of Taris stops me. It's so linear and I've done it several times already on abandoned playthroughs.

Boring or frustrating stealth sections in certain games (like those Mary Jane sections in Insomniac's Spider-Man game).

Turbo tunnels in any Battletoads game

Forced tutorials can be annoying in a game that you're already played before. Unskippable cut scenes are irritating as well

The Batmobile/tank stealth boss fight in Arkham Knight...and pretty much everything else in the game that involved the Batmobile.

Not a particular section, but the battle system in Shadows of Darkness. As a point-and-click, it's nearly perfect... the combat, though, doesn't feel good or necessary.

- Usually in RPGs the necessity to level up again and unlock skills prevents me from replaying them.

- Metal Gear Solid 2 is filled with tons of boring levels.

- TBH entire Resident Evil 1. It was good once I played it but I wouldn't play it again lol.

- Devil May Cry 2's first few levels.

- Chrono Trigger's early parts.

- Bioshock Infinite had a bad start and bad ending. Damn Elizabeth and then damn killing simulator ending. I was like "ugh" and deleted the game and watched the ending on Youtube back then lol.

- L.A. Noire's first few cases are damn too boring, buster!! lol

- Alpha Protocol because it doesn't have a decent save system.

- Fahrenheit's initial levels and the infamous "whole furnitures attack" quick time event lol.

- Half-Life 1's initial walking simulator start.

- Borderlands and Claptrap's annoying existence lol.

- Far Cry 4 and 5 because how boring their starts are.

- Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines' infamous spooky hotel mission would be in the list if it didn't have console commands to skip the entire level.

Dude the list got too old so I'll drop it now lol.

Chapter 6 on the original Paper Mario, is basically a Mascot Horror in terms of Fetch questing, not only that, if you are the slightliest underleveled of got a slightly wrong Badge set, the enemies will either kill you or be drags, the pillar puzzle is annoying to figure, Lakilester is easly the WORST partner on the game and that fucking "music" can go to Hell, sandwiched between Chapter 5, a great Indiana Jones-esque level and Chapter 7, one of the best dungeons in the Mario RPg subgenre, Flower Field is deceptively LAME

Zone of the Enders 2, that one time when Viola ai takes over Ardjet and you have to suddenly elevate your parying skills to the level of the greastest eastern parry masters just to progress through the game.

- Usually in RPGs the necessity to level up again and unlock skills prevents me from replaying them.
Yeah, and grinding in general.

Sudden strike forever in its entirety

The game campaigns are so annoying the American campaign open up with a brutal kingtiger attack on the player position combined with bombers raining hell from the sky.

The British campaign is very well designed so i will give it a pass

The German campaign is absurd you get so many units it feels overwhelming yet losing them feels so easy they feel worthless the soviets respawn indefinitely in mission 1 and you have to fight through soviet tanks with hardly any anti tank capabilities not any tank IS2 tanks one of the strongest tanks in the game , mission 2 have you put up with literally battleship guns placed on land having range that covers the entire map simply wherever you are they will hit you i didnt put up with it if you gonna give the enemy such a cheat then I'm cheating too i proceeded to mod German howtizers to eliminate these OP guns just to say fuck you fireglow for this shit.

Mission 3 have you cut off like HOW? YOU LITERALLY CLEAN UP FLANKING SOVIETS IN THE PAST MISSION WHY THE MIGHTY WHERMACHT CAN'T GETS ITS SHIT TOGTHER? seriously they keep going behind your lines what the hell dude? Mission 3 is at least bearable.

Soviets usually have best campaigns it's the case for Sudden strike 1 campaigns and sudden strike 2 but forever being a sudden strike 1 add-on decides to for some reason and this is the only time i ever see a game do this give the player very limited troops as the soviets where Germans who are better trained outnumber you , if i have to describe the soviet campagin it's fighting a professional army with 5 illiterate poorly trained conscripts and you are supposed to capture airfield after airfield hill after hill using these fellas......i played it once and will never do again.

Same story for sudden strike 2 add-on called resources war while forever campagins were difficult they were at least not having cheap scripts like enemies spawn infinitely every damn mission , resources war missions throw you in the midst of a chaotic battle giving you tons of units and you have to deal with constantly respawning enemies it's frustrating , germany 1941 is about Kiev being encircled it's 1941 and you have 1945 tanks! The first mission has Panthers on the German side the "encircled" soviets are for some reason actually an organized killing machine.....not so "encircled" especially in early days of the war where soviets were so poorly organized and such in mission 4 you have to defend against over 200 soviet tank attack!!! Where you are barely starting the mission ....actually Germany 1945 is about the ruhr pocket where you constantly fighting and running away at the same time for the first time i felt a little bit of disappointment constantly fighting a losing battle you may thwart this American attack but they will keep coming and unlike you they have enough material to sustain losses it's the only campaign where infinite enemy spawning is actually tolerated because it makes sense.

American campaign sadly is the best it's also about the ruhr pocket basically you see the events from the American side it's only problem is constant germans respawning like this is so inconsistent with Germany 45.

British campagin is about battle of caen and it's pretty horrible.

Soviet campagin is utter garbage especially mission 3 idk what's the deal with making good base game soviet campagin and piss poor expansion soviet campagin.

the drop in quality and memorability Streets of Rage 2 takes stages 5-7

Like you can REALLY tell thats where Ancient started to get burnt out especially with how stage 6 doesn't even have a proper boss fight, it's just two of the guys you already fought with slightly different color palettes lmao
