I have two I was always very fond of.
The first would be inspired by Pokemon Snap. You'd be a photographer who hunts cryptids and you're trying to get the best photos of them possible. You start off small, with some local legends and really basic equipment, but the better photos you take the more you can sell them for. The more money you make, the better equipment you can get, the further you can travel, and you could even pay people for information to help you find new creatures to photograph. Could even have an online system where you share photos and things.
The second would be called "Dream Bear." The story would center on a child who recently went through a very traumatic event and ended up in an orphanage. They have horrible night terrors so one of the workers gets them a teddy bear to help them sleep better. At night, the bear comes to life to protect the child, going into their dreams to fight off the night terrors. Each dream would be a different 'theme' based on a common childhood fear, and each would have a "greater terror" as the main boss you'd have to slay to purify the nightmare and turn it into a peaceful dream until all the child's trauma began to heal.
