Damn ur serious about it, I remember reading and watching some videos on Rainfurrest, lots of drug issues and bad behaviour on the hotels, where you in any of the ones that lead to the cancellation of the convention?

'serious about it'? Not sure. Just a guy who likes anthropomorphic characters. We grew up with them afterall, but hard to say you'd refuse to watch Robin Hood, or 3/4 of children's cartoons.

I only went to the last 3-4 times before it was shut down.

I'm not sure of bad behavior, i heard things that might have gone on but i only went to the public events, video games, vendor corner to buy stuff, and then some of the workshops. But there was always so much interesting stuff you couldn't see it all.

Right, a lot to unpack here. The baby furs, didn't know they were an OP against Rainfurrest, but there were some rumors going around that one of the guys that threw around the diapers was also the one that called the hotel chains to not allow the convention to take place, back then I never understood why someone would do that to their own group, but I guess they weren't part of.

The sawing part? I heard a rumor that they were trying to drill a glory hole... Don't know the veracity of such claim so I'll put it at "most likely not true".

Not a surprise. In politics it was done;. Example of if group A didn't like Group B's politics, so instead of being honest, they'd dress as the KKK and cheer at everything Group B was saying in public speeches which then deters people thinking the unwanted racists/bad actors are actually for it and it's a good thing.

In more modern examples, remember the AdPocolypse? Groups intentionally signing up for nazi or other far extreme groups, and then refreshing pages over and over until an ad popped up with Coca-Cola, and then sending a screenshot saying 'You're supporting Nazis! take your ads down' or something similar.

I heard that too. But didn't hear or see anything in official statements to it. So far as i know it's just a rumor.

Yes and no.

I moved out when my ex and i split. But it wasn't a relationship/emotional reason to stop.

When you wear a full suit, your vision is obscured, you need a handler to help out and make sure you don't trip on stuff. They also carry things like water, deter kids who may want to suddenly hug you or surround you, and you will sweat a lot so you need hydration. Indoors it isn't so bad, but at a carnival in summer...

And where i moved i don't see much in that community anywhere, so it just sits in it's container. I used to go to Rainfurrest in Portland when that was a thing (Then bad activists infiltrated and effectively forced the hotels to drop all support of it).

Also when i checked it recently, my head has gotten fatter... i fear i'll split it. I might have to manually shave some of the foam on the inside to make a bit of room if i decide i plan to wear it again.

I had fun cosplaying Pyro from TF2, met a couple blue spies, got me a handmade jumpsuit..
Id love to do it again but my dermathologist said no hats so I doubt wearing a gas mask all day would be ok haha

There's things i like and things i have thoughts on. I enjoy sexy art, i enjoy funny stuff, and cute stuff. I have kinks like everyone else; But it doesn't help most of the furry stuff seems to be gay, which i don't care about. And there's plenty enough ones who give a bad name to the majority of closet furs.

But like politics and religion i won't bring it up or force it on anyone.

Best to ignore this deviation and move on.

My friend did a fold-able cross that its on the back and even made a full scale Scissor sword from Kill La Kill

ough i cant remenber at all tbh orz we were cosplaying naruto's characthers (idk much about it, never watched it) "anbu team" maybe?
tbh he (my brother) was initially doing a cosplay for himself, but when he saw i was so happy to help, he made an extra costume w scrap material;; TT
