Look, I love stories about people finding games through YouTube and falling in love with them.
There's something beautiful about them.
But I feel that the opposite is just as fascinating.
Have you ever been discouraged from playing a game because of YouTube? It doesn't necessarily have to be because of the YouTuber's opinion, but because the game had game-breaking bugs you learned about there, or because a longplay showed you it wasn't going to be your thing... whatever works, as long as it actively stopped you from playing something.
I was going to get "Fallout Shelter" until a couple of brutal videos made me think better of it — dodged a bullet there, too.
