Random Has anyone have any experience with "The Claw" technique? Which games?

DS1
I usually start the game as a thief, to get the black leather armor, the bandits knife and a quick roll.
Then I get the Zweihander and go for a quality build, while using the upgraded knife or Balder Side Sword in the interim.
Good times when I managed to kill Gwyn naked and with an electrified Zweihander 😎

i've done this while playing dante in dmc4/5. its also necessary to use for the command menu in KH if you want to keep sora moving.

Weird huh how the claw grip mostly became a thing after the PSP Monster Hunters & Soul games.
Actually not weird at all because 90% of action games used fixed-camera angles &/or smart camera movement up until that point. Totally not a coincidence!

The only other game series that 100% needs the claw grip for maximum performance are the Ninja Gaidens... for the exact same reasons as the Souls!

I've only used it when i'm emulating megaman and castlevania game. (You need it to press the L and R trigger while moving).

Another one will be when i played Armored Core with controller.

well.... i don't see it as a problem after all i love deep scratches.

I've only heard about The Claw in passing, from friends playing Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and Portable Third on hardware. I had the good fortune of playing those on PPSSPP with a Dual Shock 4, so I've not had to suffer through that.
