Who here Remembers Gravity Falls it is such a cult and timeless classic its so sad that its finished as I really wanted a new season but how likely is it that we really get a new season after so many years.
Anyway this Cartoon was so good in the worldbuilding and Story building the story got me really hocked and I liked the Mysterious aspect and that it played in Oregon was only a plus for me as I have some Family in Oregon (No Contact though) Called myself Oregonian for fun because of it and I actually wanted to migrate there many years ago but well money.
Anyhow lets talk about Gravity Falls.
Also Gravity Falls Anime version when ?
and here is the Original man this gets me so Nostalgic every time good old times and no don't call me old and don't tell me either when it came out
I am not Old I am young

It is a fierce candidate for being my favorite cartoon ever.

The world-building was incredible (it seemed that every character was given a chance to shine), the relationship between the twins was sweet and very believable, the villains were paced right and escalated the threat quite nicely (seriously, going from Gideon and Robbie to Bill was a masterclass on how to write these things) and, overall, they had one of the only TWO good takes on videogames I have ever watched, the other being Gumball's portrayal of JRPGs.

I also liked how they kept Wendy as a "secret weapon" for most of the series -- like, you knew she was very competent from what little action she got, but then became the team's ace for a little while there and elevated the whole thing.

But my favorite thing is how seamlessly it integrated humor and heartbreak -- going from the skit about Stan being tricked into wearing the "Teeth of Truth" to facing cosmic horrors shouldn't have worked, but it totally did. And we are all richer for it.

Its probably my favorite Cartoon I can't think of another that would still get me as excited many did in my childhood but now I find most annoying but Gravity Falls I still could watch as a sad old man...em I meant a young and youthful youngster

Getting Old 30 Rock GIF

Anyhow I also liked maybe still like The Emperor’s New School sometimes Spongebob mostly the older good Episodes and Coop Vs Cat but in English for some Reason Cat Vs Human.
A also watched a lot of fairly odd parents but now Fairly odd parents annoys the shit out of me.
Looking up the English names a bit annoying but better for everyone to know which Series I mean.
I am Basic my Favorite Character was dipper
[and I love how they redeemd Pacifica/SPOILER]

Yes it's fun and funny but I have almost forgotten it by now, is it still running?

I remember it was on the Disney Channel for a while but it's been a while, probably it's gone again.

I remember the night it premiered on Disney Channel like it was yesterday.

It's a fantastic series. It started off pretty slow, but started getting really interesting towards the end of season one.

Bill Cypher was a great series antagonist, too.

He actually was a entertaining Villain which apparently is to much to ask for most modern slop.
Anyway Stan was also a cool character.
I wished so much that they would continue the Series where they return as Adults with some things changed with of course stange things happening and with a bit of a more Adult and Mature theme suiting tot he Actual Audience who grew up in the meantime.

Here in LA we get reruns of Gravity Falls and some other series (like Dave the Barbarian, Kick Buttowski, etc) on Saturdays (Sabaton)

Too bad we dont get reruns with Marvel Series too (i miss Disney XD)

And yes, Bill was the best part with how fun and crazy he was

One of my all-time favorites for sure — up there with The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and Samurai Jack for me. I have it downloaded on an external HDD so I can watch it whenever and wherever I want.
Soos is my spirit animal — I relate to him so much. Love him to death.

It's the best animated series Disney has ever produced.
It's also a rare example of Disney FINISHING a series where it was intended to be finished, and with very little cut content OR executive meddling.

No additional seasons, no last minute cancelations, no art style changes, no early season restrictions, no mid to late season censorship, no change in cast.
Gravity falls is a complete story. I'd argue that makes it Disney's objective best, even if I subjectively prefer other less fully realised series.

It's a shame the Bill Cypher statue was located so quickly.
but knowing its in on Confusion hill is peak meta humour.

WAIT, THE STATUE WAS REAL!?!?

Never overstayed it's welcome, plot threads recieved satisfactory finales, knew it was for kid yet never talked them down showing complex characters and horror without going overboard, i can say it is the best of the Disney Channel Lineup, good thing Alex Hirstch decided to end it there instead of zombifying it

TBF i kind of disliked the show back then, i was cautious with Disney's Animation back then, so the show having what i deemed as another show that will get the axe like Wander Over Yonder, but fortunately i got mistaken and here i go, still crying with that legendary finale, Gravity Falls, you got the meda of:

It is an absolute masterpiece of a show, I loved every episode and enjoyed it start to finish without thinking it overstayed it's welcome or tested my patience in some way due to quality drops.

gravity falls gf

I've never watched every single episode on order (I should change that some day) because I just could not keep up with TV schedules, but it was the best series that I remember watching, it was perfect.

Also this animation gives me life

gravity falls got me grabbin me balls

watched this show after s1 aired and got hooked at the end of s1, got my whole highschool friend group hip and we got together every time a new episode aired to watch it, whether in person or on Skype. Amazing time, amazing memories, amazing show. Excited for Hirsch's next project, whatever it'll be.

I thought it was great. I was 30 when it aired. My niece kind of didn't get a lot of positive attention from her parents when she was little so she would ask me to watch some of her favorite shows so she would have someone to talk to about them.

I loved Gravity Falls and also got some see some true greats like Regular Show and Dan Versus.

Wendy's a bitch, Dipper dodged a bad breakup

iirc Hisch said he's never working with disney again because of how strict they were, I respect how outspoken he's been about it

You are absolutely right, my only complaint is I wish Stanford got more episodes instead of being locked in the basement right after he showed up
