On the contrary it’s great that you’re still here nyo, I wanted to tell at least one person that I’ve beaten for Twinsanity for the first time a few weeks back. It’s weird how it not only got me to care about crash again but it became my favorite so I quite appreciate how helpful the rec was!

Hopefully you get better man. It's sick you got through Twinsanity. Not the hardest in the series but it's good silly fun I think. I'm struggling through Crash 4 right now. I've finished all of them 100% but ever since 4 came out like 4 years ago I still haven't finished it.
I’m really glad I gave the ps2/gba games a chance because I wasn’t entirely sold on About Time. Not to say crash 4 sucked, it’s an INCREDIBLE game, an incredible game that really gets my blood pressure up haha. Rage is an unpleasant feeling for me. But I’m praying this is just a physics issue. I’ve had plenty of games where I eventually adapted. Tawna is a big selling point because I fucking love grappling hooks! (You can guess who was my favorite character in twinsanity hahaha)

My personal theory about why Crash 4 is as hard as it is (and just an fyi. It doesn't get better) is that when N.Sane Trilogy dropped everyone that hadn't played the games before blew the game up as the "Dark Souls of Platformers" and constantly complained about not having a good sense of depth perception. I think when designing 4, Toys for Bob saw that reception and tried to outdo that instead of making it faithful to how those older games really were, challenging but rewarding. The idea that every level has 12 gems, a perfect relic, a time trial relic (wherein now you are required to get Platinum for the 100% to count) and a alternate version of the level making you play it twice really is horrible and I hate it. But the story and characters are really well written (I think one of the better written Crash games) and the artstyle is decent (I hate how broad Crash's shoulders are.) Not to mention once again it's a Crash game that had a shit ton of stuff cut before release, this time so that Activision could churn out dogass COD Vanguard. Bet you didn't know that Ripper Roo and i think it was the Komodo Brothers were supposed to be in the game.
